It helps to separate chains by holding them loosely in the palm of your hand or both hands and shake gently allowing the chain or chains to loosen. Untangling becomes really easy. I use this trick to untangle my crochet yarn because some yarns tangle easy just like chains. I hope this helps someone.
When indecisive, I always put the item in the shopping cart, walk through the store and I know by the time I'm ready to leave if I want to buy the item. Great advice, Dr. Lori.

You are so awesome. You remind me, too! Much of my mother's sister Aunt Lovie. As a child I grew up in a small town in central California right next to a railroad. I spent every evening after school digging In the ground Because I always was able to Retrieve Old medicine bottles. Some of them still had the Content And was sealed. My mother who was very poor We had very little money She collected them. It was a fun pass time. One day All of the bottles were gone. Somebody came and bought all of them. I'm sure my mother did not ask for very much except for food money But I often miss those bottles

Hi, Dr.Lori! I’m an artist, and, among other things, I usually peruse the frames and prints at local thrift stores. I found myself last week having forgotten my loupe, and looked carefully at a well done smallish botanical framed picture of two echinaceas, including a pencil signature and date. I have no extra wall space, but it was interesting. I rehung it and left it. This morning, I did have my loupe with me, and I got a chance to examine it closely. It’s an original colored pencil rendering, and I realized that this week, its tag color was 50% off. I paid $2.00 for it! It only has an initial signature, and dated 2007, but I figured it deserved to be appreciated, so I brought it home, washed all the fly specks off the glass, and gave it a turn on my dining room wall. I almost always have my loupe with me, and it is very useful! Thanks for all your pep talks!
If you don't should follow the Facebook groups there's two Facebook groups she's always in almost daily all the time helping people. One is hers the other one is a fan made group that she's also in.

Have you ever heard of the "Christmas Tree"shop? When I first moved to Maine years ago, I went to one where I had the shocking excitement of putting Two Beautiful quilts in my "carriage" that were marked down to only $1.50 each! Someone actually stoled one out of my "carriage" and tried to quickly check out with it! 😳 I chased them! Demanding my quilt back! 😲 In the end I was granted to purchase both. The cashier though was a bit cheeky! She said "We've never had a fight in the Christmas Tree shop!" 🤭 ( I still have them. They are in beautiful condition. And they are now 16 years old.) Keep Smiling And Enjoy Your Evening! ☺️✌️❤️🦋🙏

I also wanted to say that in college I worked at a jewelry store and became known for untangling customers' jewelry. I did use pins (the display pins we had to tie a piece down into a box) and the velvet pads that we had on the glass cases to display jewelry on when we took it out of the case. I'd put the pins into the tiny links of the chains (which would poke through to the velvet pad) in order to loosen knots and twists. Customers would come in just to see the "untangle kid". (I also did most of the engraving...everyone I worked with was afraid to learn the engraving machines but I loved it!)

The person who bought the 3rd santos figure probably has no idea it’s worth $1,500. Will sell it in their garage sale a few years down the road…
