I think so, very limited amount of VaultBox available. Normally sells out quick and had to get it from a dealer with added mark-up prices. Coins are beauitful, but just not at the price I paid 😁

I’ve watched just about every one of these unboxings on CZcams. I’ve seen one or two boxes come out ahead. On average the rest of them are down $500 to $700 per box. It’s amazing watching people trying to convince themselves they got some nice coins and ignoring that they lost $600 in their gamble. I could see being down 100-200, but 6 to $700?! There’s hardly anybody even breaking even on them. It’s a lottery. You gotta pay for the winning boxes AND the company’s profits. It’s fine as long as people realize what this is and are willing to throw away $500 to $700 taking the risk.
I hit a red core: Hawaiian 50 cent commemorative got instant offer for $2,800. We get it, it’s a gamble.. do we need to put a gamblers notice and the GA phone number to make y’all happy? Lord.
They sell every one out, so I can't say they're doing it wrong, but if the average box was a little higher, I'd go for them. The $229 boxes averaged around $180 value, I think, but that includes the big coins, so most people got a box around $100 i think, which is juat too low. You pay $230 for 100 bucks worth of cards and you're gonna feel bad. If it was closer to 140 or 150 on the worst boxes, and the higher boxes were a little lower to balance it out, I'd buy them every time
You said you can't afford the old seated dollars, but obviously you can afford to spend 4 grand on Vault boxes. It probably would be smarter to just buy a nice low mintage 1800s seated dollar individually.
I like the liberty seated dollar you got at the end, but NGC is ripping people off with the pay to gamble scheme. Glad you got a little gold. It's not worth the money you pay NGC, but it is fun to watch these boxes get opened. Just another form of the lottery, but at least you get some cool coins and don't end up totally screwed.
