I want to ask Harari people, do you know what Ethnic he belong Abadir Umar ar-Rida? I'm studying history at UCT Cape Town, South Africa and I want to know about him because many tribes were claiming. Shaykh Abadir (technically Aba Dharr but pronounced Abadir) Umar ar-Ridaa was from Arabia who came with roughly 400 people from Makkah. He is Arab, and is said to be a descendant of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq. He re-organized Harar after it crumbled for about 20 years when the people of Harar (the Harla, an ancient name of the Harari people) were sticken by a drought and famine,and was elected by its people to be the Amir of Harar and he named the city Harar.

Harari culture it is not belong to one person. For more than 1000 years we have not seen culture songs be sing in coffee shop this is not just ordinary music.
