when I first saw this treasure there was no way it was going to stay a silent film. the audio containing our community's very best ever duo Shâmitu and Gini [standing side by side as seen singing in mâmma mâmâdile and jâliyêy]. these two were definitely blessed with the ability to take you and i on a journey with their voice alone. so upon realising it was our superstars, i begun this short emotional journey of syncing where i could. don't forget our male elders, absolutely portraying our culture in a pure and beautiful light. so now please sit back [bunkho aflihu hunqâwum atrisu'], reminisce and enjoy over and over and over again.

You should be proud not just for your lovely songs, being an Ethiopian- Harari, but also during the second world war refugees from Europe preferred to come to Harar in stead of going to other places. Who would have thought the long standing friendship Hungarian and Ethiopian Harari still interest of historian and academics. 🙏☪✝
