Disney is mostly in charge of the shows now. Sony can't do dick about it and no way are they gonna give Disney the show rights to Spectacular willingly.
Pretty sure Sony could revive the show in the form of a movie, game or comic/graphic novel. I think they don’t believe the market’s there for Spectacular Spider-Man especially considering how popular the game and MCU Spider-Man are.
We don't need Sony. Just let Disney make a NEW cartoon as good as this one. They're completely capable and reliable. Sony, on the other hand, is often hit or miss. Stop asking for Spiderman to remain in their hands. Watching this as a teen, I thoroughly fell for their red herring for most of this arc -- then this line happened, and I immediately went, "It's Norman!" It was soooooo much fun!!!
Such a great time that even 60 years later, kids can grow up without the prior knowledge that Osborn is behind the Goblin mask and be blown away by the reveal, despite how famous and common the knowledge is to older audiences. Sometimes you gotta miss the simpler times like that

@Kryptoskillet I respectfully disagree. Harry didn't really make sense imo, like why would he want to take over the criminal underworld? He had a substance abuse issue, but wasn't sufficiently motivated to do all the stuff Goblin did. Norman is more menacing, and provided setup to slowly shift Harry into a more villainous role where it would've landed with even greater impact had the series continued.
It's good, but I think his whole rooftop proposal monologue in the first Raimi movie is superior. I'm not trying to sound like one of those stubborn Raimi fanboys, I just really like the way he gives the blunt truth about society.

It was at the time when Disney bought Marvel, so alot of shows got cut. Iron Man Armored Adventures, this, and many more I can't seem to think of. In replacement of this Spider-Man show, we did get Ultimate Spider-Man which was enjoyable until it got canned, then finally we got the GOD AWFUL Marvel Spider-Man or Spider-Man 2018 or 19 is when it came out

I like how your description doesn't mention "character design" or "art style" because that's pretty much the ONLY thing they can't bring back (and the name). Disney can bring this back under a different name and just draw it slightly different. Disney could even hire the same writers Sony used to keep the same spirit and tone of the original show. Then again, Sony could bring this show back if they just do 44 minute episodes, as the Disney deal specifies.

This does hint at a deep struggle that all superheroes (especially Spider-Man) grapple with where they try to figure out who the real them is. Are they their super identity, or their secret identity? How they balance between normal life, and super heroics is largely determined by where they fall on that scale. Batman tends to full dedicate himself to being Batman, and Bruce Wayne funds the mission. On the other hand, Superman is usually just one of the things Clark Kent gives to the world. Spider-Man falls towards the middle, and is constantly facing the consequences of balancing the two lives. Spider-Man 2 showcases this by him not being able to function as Spider-Man until he can figure how to function again as Peter Parker. I won't spoil No Way Home, but this is an important element of that movie.
For me my favorite hero is Nightwing and he falls closer to Spider-Man in your comparisons. But I think one of the reasons I like Nightwing more(Spidey is still high on my list though), is cause more Nightwing stories tend to end with Dick going "You know what. It is ALL me, Dick Grayson, Robin, Batman, Nightwing. All of it is me, it is all who I am for better or worse". And he seems to consistently end stories with a peace of mind(Obviously not always just fairly often). Peter on the other hand seems to end a lot of story lines bummed out about one aspect of his life, either he feels he is failing on the "power and responsibility" front or he feels being spidey is a curse he wishes he could escape to be normal. So I just generally feel Spider-Man stories tend to be a bit more somber at there conclusion and Nightwing stories tend to be uplifting.

Green goblin is my favourite spider man villain. Definitely the marvel version of The Joker because both have killed the heroes love interests or close family.
Goblin is actually a hybrid of Joker and Lex Luthor. He may be the hero's insane arch-nemesis clad in purple and green but he is also a billionaire industrialist and something of a scientist himself.

Interesting Fact: Spider-Man and The Green Goblin were voiced by Josh Keaton and Steve Blum who also voiced Jack Darby and Starscream from Transformers: Prime. I could only imagine an episode where Jack fights against Starscream while using the Apex Armor.
Norman is incredibly smart and this scene shows it. He uses his intelligence to confuse his enemies and he is extremely good at exploiting his enemies weaknesses. By far One of Spider-Man’s villain that is actually a true match for him.

Although God's creation was created perfect, having no death, sickness and disease, the creation became corrupted through Adam and Eve in them disobeying God. In this rebellion the creation became fallen through the curse of sin and mankind became separated from God. This world is fallen, but God offers reconciliation to him through his provision at the cross. Ultimately God will restore his creation to perfection when he returns but those that who reject his offer of redemption will remain condemned by their sins and go to hell.

It was at the time when Disney bought Marvel, so alot of shows got cut. Iron Man Armored Adventures, this, and many more I can't seem to think of. In replacement of this Spider-Man show, we did get Ultimate Spider-Man which was enjoyable until it got canned, then finally we got the GOD AWFUL Marvel Spider-Man or Spider-Man 2018 or 19 is when it came out

@@phoenixwhiler943 the artstyle is super generic, the voice acting is odd, the pacing of episodes or stories are everywhere, and the errors. It had potential to be a good show but it flopped hard, yet somehow it got more episodes or seasons than the other two I mentioned

I like how your description doesn't mention "character design" or "art style" because that's pretty much the ONLY thing they can't bring back (and the name). Disney can bring this back under a different name and just draw it slightly different. Disney could even hire the same writers Sony used to keep the same spirit and tone of the original show.
Then again, Sony could bring this show back if they just do 44 minute episodes, as the Disney deal specifies.

This quote perfectly encapsulates Batman. Bruce Wayne is the mask that hides who he really is: Batman
Thats why when holding the golden lasso he was able to say "Batman" when asked his identity
This does hint at a deep struggle that all superheroes (especially Spider-Man) grapple with where they try to figure out who the real them is. Are they their super identity, or their secret identity? How they balance between normal life, and super heroics is largely determined by where they fall on that scale. Batman tends to full dedicate himself to being Batman, and Bruce Wayne funds the mission. On the other hand, Superman is usually just one of the things Clark Kent gives to the world. Spider-Man falls towards the middle, and is constantly facing the consequences of balancing the two lives. Spider-Man 2 showcases this by him not being able to function as Spider-Man until he can figure how to function again as Peter Parker. I won't spoil No Way Home, but this is an important element of that movie.

For me my favorite hero is Nightwing and he falls closer to Spider-Man in your comparisons. But I think one of the reasons I like Nightwing more(Spidey is still high on my list though), is cause more Nightwing stories tend to end with Dick going "You know what. It is ALL me, Dick Grayson, Robin, Batman, Nightwing. All of it is me, it is all who I am for better or worse". And he seems to consistently end stories with a peace of mind(Obviously not always just fairly often). Peter on the other hand seems to end a lot of story lines bummed out about one aspect of his life, either he feels he is failing on the "power and responsibility" front or he feels being spidey is a curse he wishes he could escape to be normal.
So I just generally feel Spider-Man stories tend to be a bit more somber at there conclusion and Nightwing stories tend to be uplifting.
Honestly Green Goblin is Spiderman's Joker. Only way stronger, and possibly even more insane.

Green goblin is my favourite spider man villain. Definitely the marvel version of The Joker because both have killed the heroes love interests or close family.
Goblin is actually a hybrid of Joker and Lex Luthor. He may be the hero's insane arch-nemesis clad in purple and green but he is also a billionaire industrialist and something of a scientist himself.

Norman is incredibly smart and this scene shows it. He uses his intelligence to confuse his enemies and he is extremely good at exploiting his enemies weaknesses. By far One of Spider-Man’s villain that is actually a true match for him.
