- The God of Thunder and Prince of Asgard may just seem like a big oaf at times, but the truth is he is one of the most powerful heroes ever to avenge. We have seen him display an incredible amount of powers in the MCU, and used those powers to defeat aliens, robots and adopted brothers alike. We know about the lightning , but the young prince has a ton of powers you may not have even been aware of. Let’s check out some of the tricks this Asgardian God has up his sleeve - you know when he decides to wear sleeves - right now!
Some heroes are known for specific powers. Each of the Eternals for example. Druig has mind control. Makkari and her superspeed. Phastos has a working relationship with technology. Then there are heroes like the God of Thunder who are just known as a great strong hero who can do quite a bit. He has super speed and strength and stamina. He can travel great distances and there may be more upstairs in this gladiator’s head than you had previously realized. Which of this mighty hero’s powers do you think are the most powerful? A good indication of how great Thors mighty powers are portrayed after he obtained Stormbreaker, they arrive in Wakanda to battle Thanos and his army from getting the mind stone, Thor was the only one who could even touch Thanos, let alone hurt him.. Thanos had 5 of 6 stones and still couldn't stop Stormbreaker from being impaled in his chest. That shit gave me chills!

He can also use Mjolnir to absorb energies and radiations like when he took all of the power cosmic from Galactus
Marvel nerfed their two most powerful superheros Thor and Hulk . That's what I like about dc they remained consistent with superman's strength.
Probably because everyone on that side other than wonder woman isn't on their strength scale. Lol so to nerf superman for 1 person wouldn't make sense.

The changes that Hulk and Thor went through were very important for both of their character development and growth.
They set up a hierarchy. If you take the 2 most powerful characters and have them beat senseless at the start of the film it shows how powerful the villain is (thanos)
It’s bc they said they want to huminaze the stronger characters which is dumb Thor is a god he doesn’t need to follow human standards they don’t even utilize his strength or speed well Thor is one of the fastest characters in comics up there with silver surfer supes and flash he can travel through time and universes with ease Odin throw minjor to the edge of time n it came back in mere fraction of a secodn and Thor dodged it meaning he’s faster then the hammer which is insane n the mcu has him getting hit by lazers
It sucks that MCU Thor is not like he used to be in the comics. Comic Thor is so powerful, so maybe that's why Marvel would need to nerf him a little bit in the movies.

RKT is not from the Ultimate Universe... The Godblast isn't a side-effect of Strange repairing Mjolnir. The Godblast is Thor's lifeforce channeled through Mjolnir or any durable conduit and he's used it before Stange used his energy to repair Mjolnir
I remember that too. Thor called it his God Force. He used it to defeat the Juggernaut, Galactus and even stopped an almighty celestial in its tracks.
Worriors Madness is kinda like the Spartan Rage in God Of War. If Marvel ever decide to do a Thor game, i want warrior's Madness to be in the game as well.

Give me some more Odin and heimdal, these were serious asgardians they never joked around. I’ll take a deaged Anthony Hopkins and Idris Elba in a prequel film or Disney plus show. Showing Odin dealing with celestials, the first time he came to earth with the tesseract, how him and heimdal became and where he got his all seeing powers. I miss these 2 asgardians.

Not really as Thor's general physique is much more powerful than Eric or Jane's and maybe even Bill . And since these characters could only access Thor's powers through mjolnir , unlike thor himself who is the power , I'd say they won't have exactly the same abilities as him .

I'm sorry but what I remember of the Disney/MCU Thor, I think about Darcy Lewis running over Thor with a work van. Then Jane Foster backs into Thor and knocks him unconscious.
And in "Thor: Ragnarok", Valkyrie puts a shock-disc on him. I seriously can't imagine that this version of Thor being The God of Thunder.
I'm having a hard time believing that Makkari; the Eternal, would fight Thor without a shock/behavior-disc.
