[EngSub] Top Chinese Architect Builds a New Landmark in the Lingnan Region 嶺南新地標：中國頂尖大師打造，口碑爆了

In April 2023, Chunyangtai, a public space of culture and art, was completed in the northern suburb of Guangzhou. Surrounded by fields, it has a 1400-m2 rooftop full of lotus flowers. When you stand on the path on the rooftop and look around, you can see the lotus ponds echo with the natural lotus ponds on the ground. The building now becomes a community center for local villagers, and it also attracts a lot of young people to visit.
2023年4月，廣州市北郊的一片田野中，文化藝術空間「春陽臺」落成了，1400㎡的屋頂被種滿了荷花，微風拂過，一派嶺南水鄉景象。站在屋頂的步道上望去，荷花池與周邊的天然荷塘相互呼應，使建築成為一座高低錯落的「立體荷塘」，這不僅成了村民們活動聚會的地方，也吸引力不少年輕人來觀賞打卡。

俯视建筑群落惨不忍睹。每个细节都有很好的意图，拼凑在一起又变得杂乱无章。不明白为什么要把乡村天然环境屏蔽的严严实实，又扣出几个月牙窗偷点光线进来。

The village in its original style is beautiful, the landscape is warm, and nature lovely, but the buildings in an austere, bunker-like Bauhaus style is horrible. There is no beauty, no warmth in it. I would have preferred a traditional Chinese style with lots of woody materials....Sorry.
