    While modern science has studied the brain extensively, current understanding of the mind has largely been disregarded, meaning that there is no consensus on what consciousness actually is. In this video, Geshe Dorji Damdul explains the Buddhist viewpoint that posts a brain and consciousness that are closely linked, but that are not one and the same.
