Yeah, I jumped into a marriage when God put every red flag in front of me and said WAIT. I did it anyway, and paid for it with stress, anxiety, depression and regret. But God also brought me through the healing process of a divorce. Let's put it this way, I am the prophet sent to WARN you, obey God, and WAIT on His Perfect timing!

Please help! A woman i counsel came to me and said she failed terribly! In her sadness in waiting and waiting since she was 29, she got in a relationship with a man who slept with her after she was celebate for years. She is very distraught and sees her mistake but feels she can't be forgiven since she was saved after the same type of sin years ago after having a termination.
What do I say? I'm also.thinking she's right and that she may have angered God. I need to be careful but i don't know what to say to her.
asantewaa84 God’s forgiveness is always greater than any of our actions. God can restore things for your friend and still help things to work out for her.

@@asantewaa84 what Alyssa DK said. We all sin repeatedly. It may not be fornication like the lady you are counselling, but for some of us it is white lies, others it may be coveting other people, being prideful etc. If God has been gracious to all of us despite our mistakes, why would it be any different for her? I highly encourage you to encourage her to seek professional christian counselling. I also encourage you to spend more time studying the topic of God's Grace.

I waited 29 years and I still made a bad choice in a spouse because although I was a Christian I was not reading God's word at the time or seeking an answer from God if I should have married him or not. My advise is to not only wait on God but have on the whole armor of God while waiting, and seek his answer when you do meet someone. Don't ignore red flags just because you are in love.

Its never too late to be joyful and to rejoice in the Lord. Whether you remain single or get married one day, you always have God who supports you in any circumstance. This is what God has put on my heart tonight.

When I first started watching your videos, my singleness did feel like a season of "waiting". I felt impatient and eager to find my Godly spouse. Now, after prayerfully asking God for guidance, I can't imagine finding my husband any time soon. And I don't want to! I have way too many ways to serve God in my purpose before I'm ready to pay attention to a dating season! I still have the desire to be married one day, but it no longer feels like I'm "waiting". I'm in a season of SERVING! ♥

When i look back at all the mistakes i made and people who i thought may be the one and weren't, i now see that i was trying to make something happen outside of God's will. When He wants you to meet someone, you will and if he doesn't you won't. Great video, one of my favorites.

Too many today decide that they know what isn't right, but let proper ones pass by.
Also keep in mind that even the right one will require a lot of things that are uncomfortable. Many think that should not happen if you have "God's choice". Life is full of struggles, we have to overcome them.

kai cuul that’s between you and God. Everyone’s journey is different. God shows us areas that we need to work on, accept responsibility for, ask forgiveness for, receive forgiveness, etc.
Don’t overthink or over complicate the process. If God is showing you an area that needs to be addressed, then address it. It’s actually quite simple. Humans tend to look for some existential emotional supernatural experience and most of the time, it’s staring us in the face. There’s a saying in the South: “if it was a snake, it would have been me”.
The “ah-ha” moment makes its appearance rather quietly. And then we smack our forehead and ask ourselves why didn’t we see it sooner.

Guys this is dead on. I stayed in a toxic relationship for 3 years, almost got married hoping that marriage would make things better! No, it magnifies everything.
I called off our wedding less than a month not regretting any of it. And we are both Christians but we had very big differences in beliefs as she believed in the prosperity gospel, I don't.
Anyway, fast forward 5 years later, and one more bad but short relationship. I'm happily married to a godly woman who puts God FIRST! I adore my wife as she is precious to me. And displays the same to me.
God brought my beautiful wife that EXCEEDED my wants and desires.
Trust God, put Him first, and let Him lead you. He blessed me with my wife when I was truly content with just having Him.
Oh we both got married in our mid 40's 😉

My future husband believes in the present truth message, that is the grace message just like I do. Because the Bible says that the law was brought by Moses but Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Grace is the person of Jesus Christ but people reject it because it seems too good to be true. It was so important that my spouse had the same beliefs. I didn't want to be in a relationship with a legal guy.
So dear, you were right if your beliefs are different, it can't work out.

It is important to remain faithful and obedient to God in your waiting, NOT acting out in frustration, loneliness or boredom because that can lead you to sin and self-inflicted misery. Trust me, don’t take matters in your own hands. Wait on the Lord and remain faithful to his word. He will provide, always.

My ex girlfriend and I recently broke up and she said something similar along the lines of not settling for less, but to be patient and wait for the man that God has for her. It just makes me feel kinda down that I'm not good enough to settle with, like I'm less than - is this what you mean when you say "don't settle for less".
@@rustywallace9928 No, what I mean is to not settle for just any 'spouse' to be married, but to wait for the one the GOD wants you with. I made that mistake. I married a man that GOD tried in every way to stop me from marrying...but I did it anyway. Within a week I knew I had made a terrible mistake...HUGE. HE pretended to be a believer, but actually was not and deceived me in every other way as well. It was MY mistake for not listening to what the LORD was trying to tell me. The good thing is that the LORD actually arranged it for me to be able to annul the marriage completely. It is as it never happened. Except my bank account took several years to recover! 😂😂
Not that you are like that, but I was willing to "settle" for someone who GOD did not want for me, in order to be "married". I have learned that lesson. Your ex may feel that you were just not the one that GOD wanted her to marry, but she chose a rather unfortunate word in "settle". I doubt she meant that as anything against you, more as a way to recognize that the relationship was not what she wanted.😊

I believe there is a difference between waiting and waiting well. God has me waiting, because I need to be refined. I have trouble wanting to let go of my past and being refined. I also know I am avoiding a lot of problems by not trying to force a premature relationship. I need to be working on me while I wait. I forget that a lot when I see couples and my crush. I know some people are just in relationships to not be alone. I don't want that. I was just thinking about contentment earlier.
When I woke up this morning I prayed and told God that I’m not a handsome man, and that it would be a miracle if I actually met someone who thinks I am. But God can do miracles. I’ll just keep waiting and praying to Him, and maybe someday God will surprise me.

That is probably an honest assessment. I don't think that some have to wait because they are not Godly enough or need to be refined further (it may just be the luck of the draw or the cards you were dealt).
There are a lot of worldly women out there, even in the churches. Feels like the same with worldly men. But I would rather wait than end up in a nightmare relationship.

A lot of women will take this advice only to reach their late 20s and 30s and still be "waiting". I took that approach and my spouse never came. Once I decided that I would carefully and intentionally open myself to dating with the purpose of finding a husband, I met him. Many women are encouraged to believe that prayer is enough, but that's false. We have to seek to educate ourselves about love, marriage, womanhood, and servitude. Once we've taken time to understand those roles, we'll be led to our husbands. I'd encourage women to get out into the real world and talk to people. Get to know the opposite sex. Pray for discernment and take risks. Waiting around will keep you single.
you are talking tonight lol #3 is so true, because sometimes after being comfortable in the lord and having fully embraced patience, it's often hard to want to get out and date because the lord becomes enough for you.

Am divorced after a 14 year marriage and haven't really dated in a number of years. It's hard to go back to dating (and waiting) again, but I needed this.

Some people think I'm crazy for waiting this long for marriage (in my 30's). But I haven't been sitting idly by. I've been serving God, believing as Jesus said that if I seek first His kingdom, all these things (earthly things I need, such as a spouse/family) will be added to me. I've had to wait longer than some, but as the Bible says, singleness has had its own wonderful blessings. It is NOT a curse! But in the last 1-2 years, I've been feeling so much more desperate for a spouse that I believe it's a sign God is preparing one for me b/c otherwise I think I'd regret not being single too much. So God is working all things together for good in my life, and I see Him doing that in the lives of so many others as well. At the end of the day, ALL glory belongs to God and God alone!

Yes, I agree with all this! That is why I stopped dating! I’m happy alone! I’m joyful in waiting! I’m also alright if He wants me to be alone. I honestly am at peace and at joy with just My Jesus! I am 23 and I've been single my whole life. I am waiting patiently and living for God daily, and some factors include servings and using my gifts/talents to follow His plan and will for me. I have heard that it is good to seek someone that has the same or similar calling in this life apart from being fairly similar overall by having some things in common. The only thing is I don't have a close friendship with anyone that I would like to get to know more. Apart from continuing to wait patiently while being active in my walk with Jesus, what can I do?

Let it go, in the sense that you dont assume that he is not going to give you someone. Live life & ask Him to grant & teach you Wisdom in secret...live life honoring Him. Dont give satan pleasure by not believing, for he is "the great deceiver". Live life, pray consistently & with deep sincereity. Satan has a main objective-to destroy God's best creation: Us. He seeks to mash up the family & prevent good unions from occuring. U mash up the family what happens? Dysfunctional individuals are now the product i.e individuals with a host of problems. They now go & get into relationships with their issues thereby forming & creating individuals with more problems. Just hold on buddy, but do so with faith, try not to think about it & ENJOY life...uplift yourself, deepen your relationship wt God. He will take care if the rest. Also pray for the wisdom to understand the things you cannot.

Discerning the times through His Word and not from man. Putting aside social media accounts by deleting them and removing TV from before my eyes. God will for not be clear until you stop being content in your general waiting of blessing. God wants you to take part in an unquestionable clear calling, service, establishment, marriage, or goal!

This one dose relate to me I keep having dreams of meeting someone I'd like to date an when I wake up im mad cuz it was a dream and in real life I feel the way world is today I'll never meet anyone for me it sucks then I think maybe one day when I'm dead and in heaven God will give me my Soul mate but I don't wanna wait till I'm dead so to be honest I'm really down about finding someone I'd like and that's godly. An with the covid 19 no-one wants to date because their scared to get the virus so the daring world now days I feel is dead so how can I meet my soulmate? That's something only God would know! I have been waiting on God for a spouse for a long time. I'm almost 41 . No children my heart is in so much pain, because I've been wanting to get married and have a husband since I was a kid.

I realized the past 4.5 years I put my desire for a relationship above my relationship with GOD. I've since reversed that. I'm on the path of sobriety too so my desire has changed for a sober godly loving man.

Though marriage has been something I’ve been badly wanting for the past 21 years of my life, what I honestly want more is peace. With every video I watch that covers the topic of this season of kingdom marriages, I constantly feel like that I’ll be left out. I have been asking God if this is the season for me to marry let alone court anyone but I’ve gotten no answer. For now I’m trying to forget about all this in the effort to focus on preparing for enlisting in the U.S Air Force.

In 1977, I lost my fiancé to a drunk driver. In 2010, I lost my wife (of 2 years) to cancer. I've had Christian gals leave me because I didn't make enough money (they attended a "name-it-claim-it" church. That's life. I need to quit feeling sorry for myself and get busier by spreading the Gospel. Time is running out for this world. Remember that.

It’s quite difficult to meet Godly men in my community. But, like everything else in my life I place my future partner in my fathers hands. I don’t want anything or anyone that He does not want for me. I’m excited for the person who will get to share this human experience with me.

Thank you, Mark! It’s such a good video and some kind of reply to me. I understood that my waiting could be more faithful and I had to work with this because it was better. Now something disturbs me and I feel sad oftener. Need to change my mindset and rely on God as He opened me something a few months ago. The problem is that still nothing happens in real life so I don’t know how to react to what I received. I have been asking for some proof one more time but nothing. But before was a series of signs and replies. I guess time to believe

I've been waiting 55 years for a spouse. But now that I look back, I deserve to wait. I messed up badly in my life that way, all in the name of trying to find "the right one". I told God I wanted to wait on him this time. I took matters in my own hands too many times. You are right. It only causes pain and heartbreak. It's better to be single for a time than to make another mistake. Please pray for me that I may eventually find someone. He has blessed me otherwise in my life, and I want to focus on his kingdom first and foremost.

I prayed to God that I am willing to give up all my desires for my future marriage and career. Then I prayed again and realized that my Bible study was leading me to Genesis Ch. 22. And the Lord said He will bless me! What an answer to prayer!

Passively waiting for a spouse is not wise teaching. Men and women must use their own faith to actively seek for their spouse if they want to be happily married. Back in the 80s as a teenager. I had a list of qualities I wanted my wife to have. I prayed and fasted diligently for my wife BEFORE eventually meeting her. And guess what? She had all the qualities on my list. We've been happily married now for more than 25 Years. Spouses are appointed by the Lord. And He's not going to bless anyone with a spouse if they're not prepared to put in the spiritual work that's required.

I’m not good at waiting plus I’m bipolar with impulse issues. I’m tired of not lining up with Gods word. I had surgery on my eyes last Wednesday and had to move into a hotel Friday.
Shouldn’t our Father be enough.

I grew up in a dysfunctional home and got married via shotgun. The marriage did not last long and I was a single parent with my son. Later my daughter. Over the years I have taken time to be healed and know who I am in Christ. And it's only been in the past few years that I desire a godly partner. I think it's easier to wait when you're younger. But now I am 72 yet I am young for my age and very active. For me she has to be godly. A worshiper and a prayer warrior. I can't have less. I also know that as Christians we are a minority in the world. Yes I can find someone in the world but it would be costly. God does complete me on his own but that desire is there.
The God's time is perfect!
I have stopped to do the things on my own way.
Everything that God has for us is much better than our limited minds could expect.
I'm trusting and following His plan. I am sure that it won't bring pain. No more wounds 🙏💖
