This video is "Part 1" of what was an amazing experience hanging out with locals and learning all about Wooden Scooters in the Philippines! Yes... the locals in Tangub make some absolutely incredible wooden scooters in their free time! These things are AWESOME! There are all sorts of different style's and they can go so fast!
This year the city decided to have their first ever "Padidit Festival Race"...
This video is the build up and big rainstorm/practice before the main activity!

I've been to Tangub but I was not aware of this festival. The city is also known for their Christmas Symbols. Thank you, Kyle for the awesome video of the lovely people lush sceneries of Tangub.
This was the first year they did this event.. but the third year they had the "Sobremesa Summer Fair" a month long festival.

wooden scooter is genuinely played in mindanao I am 33 yrs old now and during my younger yrs we played wooden scooter. tangub city is my grandfather birthplace and now we are leaving in molave zamboanga del sur just 40 minutes drive in tangub city.
