Jimmy is awesome. Hes figured out how to justify upgrading his vehicles to his wife, make money doing it, and even write off the expenses and tools all at the same time. Legend.

Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy... I wish I knew you didn't know about Crutchfield. They have factory replacement stuff that fits perfectly for any vehicle. They even provide factory to aftermarket adapter kits. Good stuff anyway, keep the projects coming.

There's a reason why not a single manufacture uses wire nuts or solders wires in applications like this. loool @@Masterplan15

I'd have used a bigger piece of sound deadener to make a solid "gasket" and cover all of the holes.

As often as you replace parts with only factory replacements, I'm surprised you didn't go with 4×10s.

I've always been a Pioneer guy. Great sound quality for their price ranges. Especially for mids and highs. Loved Alpine equipment back in the day too. Definitely can't go wrong with Infinity though.

There's an acually bracket adapter to make 4×6" speakers fit 4×10" speakers speaker holes without drilling. I acually custom put 6.5" speakers I'm mine. I'll upload it soon.

I run Pyle speakers in my Chevy Silverado C1500 and they are loud along with my touch screen radio I've installed. Touch screen radios are the way to go especially in these older trucks.

Infinity speakers are great. I had 5x7 plates by Infinity, they were amazing. Even better with a small amp. It’s always fun to do a custom speaker job.

I had to replace the factory speakers and radio cd player in my 2000 Camry LE 4 cylinder. This is my first stereo system I have ever bought. I went with Kicker speakers and radio cd players is a Sony with led lighting. I want to get a subwoofer. I don't know if I want a 10 inch or a 12 inch. I don't want the subwoofer to be over powering I just want it to blend with enough bass. Of course the subwoofer will be a Kicker speaker along with the amplifier. The back speakers are 450 watts, the door speakers are 350 watts, the tweeter speakers are 150 watts. For my first stereo system in my 2000 Camry LE I think they're awesome. Enjoy your new speakers.

I would recommend at least butt connectors, if not soldering, to keep your speakers connected. Wire nuts can vibrate loose.

Great choice in speakers, Jimmy! Infinity and JBL were one of my favorite car audio brands from back in the day. They really offer great sound quality. Especially when you put plenty of clean power to them from a good amp. I've been a car audio guy since the 80's, and always put aftermarket audio systems in just about every car I've owned. Nice work Jimmy!! 💪🔥

I've ran infinity reference series speakers in the past and loved them! Up until my 06 Envoy Denali with factory Bose system. You want to add to the listening experience? Get yourself a set of Lanzar tweezers and put them in the dash or A pillers and you'd be amazed! Maybe even a little bump in the truck with a custom subwoofer so it's not eating up your cargo/over landing space. One side not though, those wire nuts are for house electrical, you should be using water proof crimp or solder seal connectors. Otherwise great job!

I know what you mean about the 4 X 10 speakers. It's hard to find good ones if you can find any at all. I have a Pontiac Fiero. the front speakers are 4 x 10 and there's no room for anything other than 4 x 6". I was able to find a set of Pioneer 4 x 10 three ways that sound pretty good. I did use 4 x6" Boston Acustics speakers in the rear and they sound better than the 4 x 10" in the front. Do you have enough room for a 6" round speaker? I think they would sound even better. Keep up the good work Jimmy.

You filling and putting sound det sticker literally were meaning less youre missing quality because the wsves and static wont sound the same because they sound isnt breaking correctly so you accomplished nothing besides adding more speakers
