Yeah i remember that time i was a little kid, nowadays its sounds really to say that there was a time when Star wars wasn't as well known nor THAT much integrated on the cultural osmosis, i mean my god i live in really deep in Argentina and when i say things like Boba Fett, Mandalorian or Anakin people now exactly what i'm talking about XD
I saw it in 1997 when i was kid in the theater for the first time. It's like a second chance for a whole new generation, unfortunately it never stopped, though the last episode of obi wan today was pretty badass.
That doesn't make any sense. Star Wars was owned by Fox and That 70's Show was owned by Fox. There is no reason they couldn't use the real sound effects.
I was 10 when Star Wars came to our town theatre and it was so packed I had to sit on the floor in the space between the screen and the front of the first row 😎

My father hated sci fi, especially my liking for Star Trek (he once said, "if that is the future, why are they wearing 60s fashion and not laserproof or shielded stuff?"). My mother hated Star Wars, saying she sat through two hours of flashy stuff, watching goofy aliens and all the kids (Hamill, Fisher, Ford) were amateur actors at best. Star Trek hasnt changed much in wardrobe other than it looks like it was made in the time the decade it was filmed in, and Star Wars is still filed with flashy stuff, aliens and a new young cast of up and coming acting skills. So they arent all wrong....but I love it nonetheless
