37th episode documenting a bike ride from Alaska to Argentina and around the world, this time without a bike and into the ice cold waters of Lake O'Higgins in Patagonia. With about 15-20 days of food, the goal was to reach Argentina while trying to visit some of the more remote corners of the lake and retracing the steps of the first settlers around these remote and harsh parts. This is part 1/2 of the 23 days journey from Villa O'higgins to El Chaiten. #packrafting #patagonia #packraftagonia

Iohan, you are our shining light during these dark days. All of your videos
are so spectacular. The beauty of this world is captured perfectly in all of your shots.Your love of nature and animals is truly heartfelt.National geographic can take a backseat. We have the real deal.
have been on this journey with you since the very beginning, i eagerly wait for every new episode, wishing you a safe journey ahead my friend...
p.s. - "hey buddy..." the way you address every dog on the way is simply beautiful, dogs giving you company in this sometimes lone and tiresome journey is something worth in gold...
his friendships with dogs and all animals, sure says a lot about this man.
They bite you as well.
Wait until you've been bitten a few times and let's see then.
You were travelling in miserable weather, and terrains, yet your choice of music, pictures, and your words quickly transported me in a beautiful state of relaxation, calme, and fooled me to think that this was easy. You deserve the hard core award with the softest heart. Merci beaucoup Master Iohan !
Another amazing video, Iohan. Thank you again for showing us a piece of the world we may never see. Your cinematography is amazing. Please stay safe and healthy!
Thanks Johan for another superb film and soundtrack they are inspiring, Stay safe. Gerry, Scotland.
Premiere & Feedback comment: Hey this video will premiere with live chat on Friday 4pm EST. If you have any comments on the premieres, please do reply here. I may not be able to make this premiere but will be re-watching it and the chat first chance I get!
cheers, stay safe and stay home!
I love the rafting but the iso shots that you set up while biking are alot harder while in the water :-) But we get underwater footage, so I'm happy!
Stay home ?
From you ?
Ahahah, that’s quite funny to hear.
@@mariamartins367 Haha! Yes, I was thinking the same. No freakin' way...Up here in the 'real world/crazy world' we've got to get back to work. Back to getting out, and about more. It's starting bit by bit. At least where I live, we are all walking around looking like burglars. Now we ALL look suspicious.. : - )
Iohan, your sublime artistic talent in all your presentations add to the amazing story that you have been telling since you left Alaska. I do love the way you are adding a clearer and more detailed map now...it makes it so much easier to follow the journey. Please continue to show WHATEVER you have the time and opportunity to do so ... I await with enthusiasm for the next part of this ongoing journey. Greetings from New Zealand 🙂
Wow! Cool! Thanks so much for this! I had a great time watching it! So nice to always spend time on your channel. : )
Iohan you are Legendary.....this was epic. Thank you. I have watched all of your episodes and I am just transported and in awe every time. Much love, Iohan.
Thanks Iohan , every new one you make I think is the best ,but this one really is the best! love to you
Thank you, thank you, thank you for adventuring, filming, editing, and going onwards into the wilds..!
Excellent music selection too..!!
Keep on keepin' on..!!!
Thank you for posting!!! Your videos always make me so happy. Especially now that we are all stuck at home. Can't wait for another one!!!!! 💟
Thank you so much for your videos, you are on such an adventure keep it up. You are taking so many to places we will probably never see for ourselves.
Great story telling with video well done.
Yes, Iohan, is a wonderful, adventurer, filmmaker, storyteller. He is one wonderful, adorable, talented man.
I would love to see your series on Netflix and submitted a suggestion to them. I know Amazon Prime has several shows on travel, but your style is incredible, and I think you should get more views. Thank you for everything!
I wouldn't as it would mean many millions more people would see his videos and think I must go there meaning these fragile habitats would likely be destroyed. Then you can bet the next things you would see is these fragile habitats being cleared for hotels, development, amusement parks, casinos, supermarkets, big roads being built carrying lots of polluting traffic and the inevitable rubbish dumped by the roadside. No Iohan is doing just fine growing his YT channel and Patreons for him to be able to make these journeys and films. No commercialisation and certainly no bloody Netflix!
@@alexmorgan3435 that's logical 👌👌😍
"if it ain't broken, don't fix it" Netflix, Amazon or any other type of firm would only be detrimental to Iohan's unique perspective as well as creative style and without mentioning the huge exposure and negative environmental effects it could have as outlined by someone else who responded to you. My advice is to enjoy it and don't worry about Netflix ;)
I fear the idea of some executive telling Iohan where to travel and how. Don't fix what isn't broken.
Thank you for your suggestions .We are not interested in the marketing and commercialism of our natural resources. We liked explorers like Iohan who is responsible and respectful of it.
This is nothing less than amazing. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Best adventure videos on youtube! Worthy of a documentary on National Geographic!
Another beautiful video of your epic adventure. Thank you so much, Iohan. Godspeed and be well.
Thank you for sharing your journey and adventures, and I always love your music selection for your videos. Good Job!
Iohan, not many human being have been on these places!!! FANTASTICO!!!
Rip descansa en paz amigo gracias por haber visitado nuestro bello país quedan tus recuerdos que estés en una mejor vida 🥲
One of my favourite episodes Iohan. Nailed the cinematography and really got off the beaten track in this part of Chile. That scene with the Cuatro Vientos song and nature shots was truly sublime, thanks. Also you've got some serious balls trying to paddle Lago O'Higgins solo in those winds! Even crossing on the ferry it was SERIOUSLY choppy. Peace.
@@willoughby1888 Thanks for the nice words. Such a heartbreaking tragedy to lose such a beautiful soul. Iohan lives on through all the adventures he inspired and people (and animals) whose lives he touched. Peace.
Beautiful scenery, great video as usual. Stay safe fella
Thanks once again, your videos give me a good feeling and reignite my passion to see the beautiful places of the world. Cheers Iohan!
Iohan, you sir are knocking it out of the national park, thank you we loved this so much watched again immediately.
Hi Iohan, it would be more fitting to call this channel “I want to see the nature & wilderness” 😁 what a legend and what a video, nice aerial shots of pure raw serene beauty, nice background music, oh man this is a different level 👏🏼👍🏼👌🏼😁
Nah, he's all over the world. He has it right.

Excited to see this video. Another "edge of seat" episode ! The Iceberg was fantastic !
Looking forward to the next episode 💜💜
Hello Iohan from UK! Lake O'Higgins is a beautiful but cruel temptress! The colour and animation of the water makes her come alive. But the trail was her wicked trick on you. Don made me laugh when he said he loved the 'peace' - with all those animals?!! Good to see you well and strong. Thank you for taking us all along with you on this fabulous journey. Till the next time...bon voyage!
A voyage most worthy where one man uncovers a lad most majestic.
Loving these unbelievable journeys, and generating an epic Spotify trekking playlist from your music too!
I'm continually amazed by the ever-increasing quality of this show, and the fact that it's all shot by one person on the go.

The better youtube Channel of youtube
You are my Hero dude. Been watching from the very start. You are like Christopher Columbus of today.
Hola recién descubro tu canal...es increíblemente bello. Felicitaciones 👏
Absolutely stunning ! My soul is yearning to be there and in the company of MYSELF ! See nobody !
Learn how to not speak and become one with the wilderness !
Well, depends on what one means by being, 'one with the wilderness.' Iojan is surviving through his adventures by not totally going 'one with the wilderness', and letting something eat him. The rest of us out here are trying to keep the bugger covid 19 from eating us!
Hi Iohan, I just watched episode 30 Escape from the Puna. It was breathtaking for moments. Thanks
Thank you! You saw it on my friend's channel?

Wooo hoooo new video 😍😍
I missed watching your videos :)
Amazing
Dude, your cinematography and editing skills put professional documentaries to shame. Way to go!
I would like to be on those sides. total tranquility away from this pandemic. every time i wake up, i wish that what is happening is just a dream, but its not, is the harsh reality. stay safe my friend, i hope that when you return to civilization you will find people to share your journey with.
Its amazing how people live so simple. I have so much stuff and I still complain. I wish I could deprogram.
Incredible coincidence, the goat story. You sure earned your meal there.
We are wating next vídeo of episode 38
Awesome video Iohan. As tough as the bushwhacking was it's still got to be better than planting trees in Houston. The bugs miss you here. With the wind there you shouldn't have to worry about them. Take care my friend.
Thank You! Safe travels my friend. I’m always looking forward to the next episode.
Iohan, how's it going? Now that ur near the end are u apprehensive? What's next? A long break or right on to the next adventure? Love watching u. U have taken us to places we will never go. Thank you.
There's a special kind of "Good" about you!!!! p.s. Your videos had me go buy 3 of Greg Isakov's albums!
I’m gonna buy his music too
Thank u sir.
Iohan,
I often start to write you a message then realise I haven't the words to fully express what you, your videos and your journey mean to me.
You present such an example of humanity and humility and the best of an adventurous spirit.
Watching your videos is at once a panacea for all that ails me and inspiration to push myself further into new territory, whatever and wherever that may be.
What was the catalysing moment where the decision was made to commence your journey? Was it just a 'whim' or some event or realisation that pushed you into such an adventure?
Stay safe. Travel well. And everything you are doing, please continue.
Much love and respect.
Hi from Switzerland
