- Tom Harwood jokes that a Just Stop Oil eco-activist who was cleared of criminal damage was rightly compared to Rosa Parks.
The protester spray painted the Scotland Yard sign orange, but was cleared of criminal damage after her barrister compared her to the American civil rights campaigner.
Speaking on GB News, Tom mocked the comparison: 'Clearly the oppression faced by climate activists in this country is exactly the same as black people in segregated America.'

The UK justice system is CRAP
These old ladies should have been sentenced to making cups of tea for inmates & staff at a low security facility, for six months. Apart from that the women were hypocrites, as the acts they perpetrated upon the case that holds Magna Carta amounted to offences under common law. Common law which is a corner stone of Magna Carta. The Judiciary today not only have lost sight of common law, but common sense as well in their judgements. Nobbled by the left most likely & I fancy in many cases willingly so. Rosa Parks sat on a bus in peaceful protest. Just stop oil stand in front of buses in aggravated protest. I can see the comparison, they both involve buses!

These women are old enough to know that the Magna Carta says nothing about freedoms for all people. It was drawn up to appease the barons who were causing the King a lot of trouble and is only concerned with the barons. As it was an important document at the time and is an interesting historical document for ALL of us to enjoy.
Because America has turned out great.
