HUGE Sound Difference!! Installing BMS Intakes on the BMW G87 M2!

- Hey everyone, welcome back to another video. Today we're installing the beautiful cold air intakes from Burger Motorsports. These intakes look absolutely gorgeous and perform extremely well. They come in a glossy finish or a matte finish and red or blue filters. Since our G87 is Toronto Red, we decided to keep it classy and stick with the red filters. These intakes supposedly increase horsepower by up to 17 horsepower and the biggest difference is the awesome sound difference. For me, the M2 is a little too tame and doesn't really have much character. The stock exhaust is muted and the turbo/intakes don't make much noise, so this intake system was a very welcome addition. Yup! The added benefit is knowing what you fk up and learning how to fix it. Shops will strip your bolts and lose parts and they wont tell you.

Not sure about digital, but I have my manual in the glovebox that came with the car.

Not for derail or anything. S58 sounds so horrible. EA839 with CAI sounds way better. Just purely a sound comparison.
Yeah that’s the one thing I don’t like about the S55 and S58, they really don’t sound good, N55 gotta be the best sounding 6cyl that BMW makes but then it’s not that fast, so I guess that’s where the B58 comes in and shines

@@DailyDownshift for real, I went with valvetronic full exhaust on my g87 and totally transformed the car. when most exhausts just make the bad sound louder, which I hate, this one makes it sound better and more exotic as well... was thinking intakes and downpipes might enhance it just a bit more tho.

@@TropicalG87 went with full titanium. highly recommend... have since added cold air intakes which are great with the whoosing sounds and a 200 cell sport cat downpipes that makes it louder on cold start, but not better, and a bit rasper which I don't love. the downpipes don't do much for me in terms of sound tbh.
