Ms. Juani! Let me tell you, I know this is an older video but let me tell you...THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD! I watched this video maybe about 2 weeks ago, and I tested it on a section of my kitchen blinds and I was blown away! This weekend we were having our family room painted so I figure let me clean these blinds....this process worked so well that even my husband was like “WHOA!” I found this just in time for spring cleaning! I actually used KABOOM and dampened paper towels (I liked the “wipe” control that I got with the paper towels vs the magic eraser) Thank you thank you thank you for this!

OMGosh - Seriously .. The BEST Spring-cleaning Tip of the Season for me!! I'm 58 years old and have dreaded this annual task every year.. We have a wood-stove for heat in the Den and in the winter I often use it to cook a pot of beans, a soup or something that needs to simmer for hours... Needless to say the blinds were ... GROSS to say it politely ... At the 4:32 mark (before you cleaned the two slats) I ran to gather my Scrubbing Bubbles .. I didn't have a magic-eraser handy ... But my vinyl blinds were clean in minutes... WHAT??? I was about to simply order new blinds this year ... THANK YOU !!!

Thank You, Thank You, i had the exact same problem...grease and dust build up on blinds. I've tried Dawn & hot water... vinegar... bleach... comet with bleach. Nothing worked it just smeared, but your method did work!

Thanks for sharing your blind cleaning secrets... today, I'm facing this big dirty task and you've made me feel like I can go out and tackle it with the best method. i'm a patient advocate and want to share a bit of health advice here. The scrubbing bubbles product, like so many of the cleaners we use in our homes, have very strong chemicals in them. . These chemicals easily get into our bodies through the skin. They don't 'rinse out' of our body the way they do from our bathtub-or our blinds. They mostly stay forever. Many cancers are caused by the additive effect of lots of different chemical "injuries quote to our bodies. Please use gloves and protect your skin!!!
Adelaide Nye thanks for sharing the insight, I really appreciate it plus while she was cleaning the blinds all I kept thinking is...why doesn't she have on gloves, but I'd rather do it this way because I tried many years ago taking down some mini blinds to clean them in the tub...big mistake, they were totally useless after that ordeal! Thank you I will be trying this this weekend. Because I can spray with water outside but I'd have to wait for Spring in NY and then wait to dry. Last time I wiped and scrubbed by hand stood on the kitched counter top by time I was done my arm and back was sore.

This was so easy, and you could see the grime lifting off the blinds. I cleaned all of the blinds in my home that day, and was done in about an hour. Try this, and you will be surprised.

To my amazement I was thinking to use some scrubbing bubbles but wasn't sure if it was going to work . so I will put the scrubbing bubbles on my blind. I was able to get Maintenance To take down from the kitchen. Putting in the bathtub and using the showerhead to clean those grimy dirty sticky blinds that haven't been cleaned in 2 years.

WOW! I love it! I was working and working on cleaning ONE mini all morning using elbow grease... OMG! Thank YOU FOR SHARING!!! I went to Sam's club and purchased Scrubbing Bubbles a 4 Pack... Citrus scent. I came home and proceeded to do just as you instructed. OMG! OMG! OMG!!! Is all I can say... I will that I pinned a towel to a tension rod and hung it behind the Wood Mini blinds and sprayed. As it cleaned away, the product dripped onto the towel and didn't spray on the window itself. But, the end result was just like wood mini blinds were brand NEW!!! OMG! Thank YOU FOR SHARING!!! I pride myself in keeping a clean house

+Just Some Ideas You have me cracking up over her. You are my TWIN, and we were separated at birth. I am the twin that got Ronnie D though. LOL!! I had to put that out there. That scrubbing bubbles is a favorite of mines, and it did wonders for those nasty blinds.
You just showed up on my recommended and it's 2020. However, I know why, because I was looking for an easy way to clean my blinds. I would have never thought of the scrubbing bubbles, but it makes perfect sense! I've been using it for many years in the bathroom. However, I find the 'magic erasers' hard to use. I have a small soft brush instead. I'm going to do it tomorrow. I've cleaned the windows inside and out already. Like you, taking the blinds down was not an option. Mine are the 2 inch 'nuwood' blinds in every room in the house and they're a little heavy, so I wouldn't even think of taking them down. I found a trick for the shower that you may already know about, but even the bubbles wouldn't get the scum off, but I tried a spray bottle, (half white vinegar and half dawn). You gently shake the bottle to mix, spray it on, let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. If you have a hand held shower head, just get the water as hot as possible and spray the shower walls down. It really cleans it well. Thanks for the great tip!
Wow! Your video is the best I've seen so far. This is from 4 years ago, so I'm not sure if you'll see my comment, but I'll save this in case you do. Your blinds seem thick and sturdy, while mine are thin, small, and bend very easily. I tried cleaning them awhile back, and now parts are permanently bent. Do you have any ideas for me so I can get mine clean without ruining them?
Hi, I still use this method and it is the best tip that I have come up with. I know exactly the kind of blinds that you are referring to, and I believe that this method would still work, but you would have to be extremely delicate when you are wiping them down. I have two sets of faux wood blinds next to my kitchen table, they get really dirty. I take them down, put them on top of a old towel on my picnic table outside. I scub them with a big old scrub brush dipped in a bucket of dawn dish soap and hot water. hose them off then hang them up to dry. (choose a hot sunny day for this) i only do this once a year, my blinds are pecan colored. its really a quick process, and worth the effort.

Thanks for the Scrubbing Bubbles tip. I don't use that product often, but I just happen to have some on hand as well as the erasers. Yesterday I looked at my blinds and they had the same type of gunk you dealt with. I was about to pull out my steam cleaner, but it's awkward to use. Thanks again! :)

Thankyou pretty lady!..you have definitely helped solve the problem of my disgusting vertical blinds, there are no magical "Scrubbing bubbles" in the UK, but I tried the next best thing & used foaming bathroom cleaner!..I've joined your many fans & will follow you from now on!
Next time, do the top blinds first, and work downward. That way, the dirt from the top blinds won't run down/drip onto the lower clean blinds.
Scrubbing Bubbles also works great on cleaning soot off my brick fireplace surround.

The manual pump style takes longer, but it also keeps a lot of those chemicals from getting in your lungs.

To my amazement I was thinking to use some scrubbing bubbles but wasn't sure if it was going to work . so I will put the scrubbing bubbles on my blind. I was able to get Maintenance To take down from the kitchen. Putting in the bathtub and using the showerhead to clean those grimy dirty sticky blinds that haven't been cleaned in 2 years.
Thanks for this tip because every year I I just remove the blinds from my kids room and trash them! Now I have a way to clean them and save money!!!! Tfs

I use Scrubbing Bubbles for so much. I spray it on my screens and you can barely tell they're there afterwards.
Oh, and I gave you a thumbs up for showing the actual real dirty blind.

WOW! I love it! I was working and working on cleaning ONE mini all morning using elbow grease... OMG! Thank YOU FOR SHARING!!! I went to Sam's club and purchased Scrubbing Bubbles a 4 Pack... Citrus scent. I came home and proceeded to do just as you instructed. OMG! OMG! OMG!!! Is all I can say... I will that I pinned a towel to a tension rod and hung it behind the Wood Mini blinds and sprayed. As it cleaned away, the product dripped onto the towel and didn't spray on the window itself. But, the end result was just like wood mini blinds were brand NEW!!! OMG! Thank YOU FOR SHARING!!! I pride myself in keeping a clean house

You just showed up on my recommended and it's 2020. However, I know why, because I was looking for an easy way to clean my blinds. I would have never thought of the scrubbing bubbles, but it makes perfect sense! I've been using it for many years in the bathroom. However, I find the 'magic erasers' hard to use. I have a small soft brush instead. I'm going to do it tomorrow. I've cleaned the windows inside and out already. Like you, taking the blinds down was not an option. Mine are the 2 inch 'nuwood' blinds in every room in the house and they're a little heavy, so I wouldn't even think of taking them down. I found a trick for the shower that you may already know about, but even the bubbles wouldn't get the scum off, but I tried a spray bottle, (half white vinegar and half dawn). You gently shake the bottle to mix, spray it on, let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. If you have a hand held shower head, just get the water as hot as possible and spray the shower walls down. It really cleans it well. Thanks for the great tip!
Wow! Your video is the best I've seen so far. This is from 4 years ago, so I'm not sure if you'll see my comment, but I'll save this in case you do. Your blinds seem thick and sturdy, while mine are thin, small, and bend very easily. I tried cleaning them awhile back, and now parts are permanently bent. Do you have any ideas for me so I can get mine clean without ruining them?
Hi, I still use this method and it is the best tip that I have come up with. I know exactly the kind of blinds that you are referring to, and I believe that this method would still work, but you would have to be extremely delicate when you are wiping them down. I have two sets of faux wood blinds next to my kitchen table, they get really dirty. I take them down, put them on top of a old towel on my picnic table outside. I scub them with a big old scrub brush dipped in a bucket of dawn dish soap and hot water. hose them off then hang them up to dry. (choose a hot sunny day for this) i only do this once a year, my blinds are pecan colored. its really a quick process, and worth the effort.

Thanks for the Scrubbing Bubbles tip. I don't use that product often, but I just happen to have some on hand as well as the erasers. Yesterday I looked at my blinds and they had the same type of gunk you dealt with. I was about to pull out my steam cleaner, but it's awkward to use. Thanks again! :)
