I cruise solo so once I snagged the Palo brunch I posted in the facebook group that if anyone wanted to join me we could meet at Palo the first night to add them to my reservation. Something to consider if you don't mind dining with people you don't know and there are only one or two of you it is a nice gesture to make that offer for others to join you.

Good tips as always. Note: There is no longer an on-board Future Cruise Desk so the placeholders are reserved/purchased in the app, any time on your cruise.

15:09 yea so this oneâs rlly nice. they rlly do not advertise this but itâs a solid feature. Words (no pics/vids/files) go through even to people off the boat. I believe this also works for DMs across various social media sites.

10:25 Pro Tip: Some Limited Edition Merchandise wonât be found in the shops. For example, the DCL 25th Anniversary Floating Speaker could only be purchased by going to Guest Services and then they would verify they had some in stock and then it would be delivered to your stateroom. Make sure you do your merch research before going aboard. *Iâve heard that the regular floating speakers (not 25th anniversary) can be purchased on the onboard gift section of the website before setting sail for $120.
14:10 Although all the ships have a Future Cruise Planning Desk, Iâve never seen anyone there since COVID happened- even though thereâs a fully staffed DVC Desk which is itâs own issue. Anyways they just want you to do the placeholder on the app and then call when you get off to fill the reservation.

5:22 except when they say the AquaMouse says it will open at 12:00 but what they actually mean is thatâs when the lifeguards get up there so they take 45 minutes getting the ride ready. But wait! The ride breaks down so they take another 20 minutes re-booting the system so you donât actually get to ride until 1:15.

Where is the dining guest services on the Dream typically?
In one of the restaurants. On the Fantasy or Dream (usually) deck 2
my understanding with the Pixie dusting is that there is no signing up and it is just completely random, maybe if someone likes your door decorations or something.
Itâs different for every cruise group. Mostly I see a list of people that want to participate and then the group knows who is in or not. It just varies.
