    Hi thanks for this it was really useful. I've gotten to a stage where I've created lots of worksheets and workbooks on Canva but they're not interactive/ fillable. I'd like to turn them into digital sellable products but I'm so confused with how. If I were to use Escape does that mean I'd be asking my potential clients to download the app for themselves in order for them to access it? Or is it fillable automatically once they open it? Some of my potential products are large files so do you advise any other options too? I really want to be clear what the ask is to the clients that buy and access the product. Are they simply downloading or needing to sign up to something first in order to access it? Thanks so much.

    • @JasonAWhaling
      @JasonAWhaling  Před rokem

      They don't have to download the app to use the PDF. It will be fillable when they open their version. Once you export the PDF from Escape that's the file you will share with customers.
      They can download and use it at that point

When I have downloaded my fillable PDF from PDF Escape I am able to fill in the form, but for some reason when I try to save it, the new typed information does not save(it's just a new copy of the blank fillable form). • @JasonAWhaling
      @JasonAWhaling  Před 3 lety +1

      Way to take action and get all of that done! Being able to edit the PDF also has a lot to do with the application people are using to view it. If the preview doesn't allow/able to read the editable fields they may not work properly.... So it's not that your PDF is broken, it's just the software some people are using.

    • @JasonAWhaling

      That will depend upon the PDF viewer the person is using

      Yes, PDF Escape has changed. When you select the text option, put it on the page, then right click settings and you can change it to a pharagraph

    • @JasonAWhaling
      @JasonAWhaling  Před 3 lety

      The green that shows up in the second tool is just showing you where the inputs will be. It's not actually changing your PDF colors. 👍

    • @JasonAWhaling
      @JasonAWhaling  Před 4 lety

      Not to my knowledge. I'm pretty sure it's just text that can be added to a PDF in this manner. If someone had the right PDF editor they could add images on their own; but they'd have to have the software and know how to do it

      Strange. That's not something I've had an issue with before so I don't know.... If it's not showing up in your final export then you probably need to start over.... part of the downsides of using free tools like this at times

    Hi there Jason, hope that you're doing well,
    I've been tying to do something for awhile regarding clickable stuff through pdf files,
    And I'm finally finishing up building my business profile, & I need to know how to insert a clickable icon that transforms the pdf from one language to another, for i.e. ==> from (ENG) to (Arabic), & the app that I'm using is canva pro,
    If you can help out with this issue... I'll really appreciate it,
    thanks.

    • @JasonAWhaling
      @JasonAWhaling  Před 2 měsíci

      That's not possible with a PDF file. You'll need to create two versions for each language.

    Hi, I am creating colouring pages with Canva in a PDF format. Is there any way for people to download and color on the PDF file instead of printing it?

    • @JasonAWhaling
      @JasonAWhaling  Před 4 lety

      That's more dependent upon the program they use to Open that PDF than formatting in Canva.... So you'd need to look for a program that allows for that functionality when opening a PDF file.
