At this level it's more about the car, most of them in the top 6-8 are very close in terms of skills. It's the car and hard working engineers that differentiate the cars from each other. Either RB didn't set up their car well today or Perez light touch on Max in the first lap screwed up the aerodynamic of the car. Max was complaining that the car had difficulty turning on the radio. There's also the luck of safety car timing giving some drivers more advantage over the others. Max got 2nd but he still collected more points than Nando this weekend, I don't think we're gonna see things change until 2026 rule change kicks in. It's gonna be interesting to see where Newey goes and whether Max leaves RB as well.
