With how Cates is, it's legitimately hard to tell if he's trying to tilt Leng or if he's just that incredulous.

Yes only 3hundred more wow leng tired mistakes are made but 2nd still amazing jungles lucky night period
That has to be one of the most costly folds in poker history, not just the money, the title, the bracelet, the recognition, the bragging rights and after hours upon hours of tournament play time, to fold there, in that position with Aces, on that board, will haunt him for the rest of his poker life.
Not to mention he was getting 11-1 to call. He needs to win less than 10% of the time lol

Top folds for a min bet to possibly eliminate a player should be an easy call. 300k would not have made a difference either way. Call just to see his hand really why not
I think it's important to make that mistake in a cheap game early on in poker because once you do, you never forget it. Regardless, as a player he seems so obsessed with being clever and tricky in hands. He played that AA32 so bizarrely, checking that flop was absolute nonsense 3 handed. If you find yourself in a headspace where you're constantly trying to make bluffs look like traps, paranoia is sure to follow. Sometimes it's hard to shake off.

When I first started playing NLH about 18 years ago I was in the local game (about 70 runners every week), got to FT which was ridiculously shallow, about 8 BB average. Blinds 2k-4k I min raised AQos to 8k leaving 8k behind and folded face up to a shove. Never thought I'd see a worse fold than that in my lifetime but along comes Leng.

Brewer is new to the high stakes poker scene but he’s become one of my top favorite players to watch.
I watched him in a high stakes cash game and really enjoyed his aggressive play style. He puts in 2x pot size bets (bluffs and value), and puts his opponents in real tough spots. Good fun. Hope to see him in more high stakes cash games in the coming future.

Yeah, it was surprising, then again, depends on what Leng prefers to play. Maybe he's uncomfortable with limit holdem? Maybe he thought cates had a stronger ace or two pair, still worth calling down. Maybe the FT pressure got to him .
