Silverdale is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kitsap County, Washington, in the United States. The population was 20,733 at the 2020 census. Despite many attempts at incorporation, Silverdale remains an unincorporated community.
Silverdale ranks 158th among 522 areas in Washington for which per capita income data is collected.
Silverdale is located on the Kitsap Peninsula at 47°39′34″N 122°40′36″W (47.659410, -122.676630).[5] It is 6 miles (10 km) south of the US Navy Trident Missile Base Kitsap, 9 miles (14 km) northwest of the city of Bremerton and the same distance south of Poulsbo. Silverdale lies at the north tip of Dyes Inlet, which connects it to Bremerton via Sinclair Inlet and to the Pacific Ocean via Port Orchard and Puget Sound.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP of Silverdale has a total area of 13.6 square miles (35.2 km2), of which 12.6 square miles (32.7 km2) are land and 0.97 square miles (2.5 km2), or 7.10%, are water.
As of 2021, of the 8,351 households in Silverdale, the age breakdown by percentage was 6.1% under 5 years old, 20.5% under 18 years, and 16.9% over the age of 65. 49.5 of the population was female. The average family size was 2.53 people.
The median income for a household in the CDP between 2017-2021 was $87,558. The per capita income for the CDP was $42,024. About 7.4% of the population was below the poverty line.
Silverdale Way is Silverdale's main commercial strip.
Commerce in Silverdale is primarily divided into two geographic areas: Old Town Silverdale along the northeast edge of Dyes Inlet, and the Kitsap Mall and big box stores (Costco Wholesale Center, WinCo Foods, Safeway, Grocery Outlet, Trader Joe's, Hobby Lobby,Michaels, Jo-Ann Stores Fabric and Crafts, Home Depot, Lowe's, Harbor Freight Tools, Barnes & Noble, REI, Sportsman's Warehouse, Macy's, Best Buy, Target, PetSmart, and T.J. Maxx) just north within SR 3 and SR 303.[8] In addition to the Port of Silverdale, Old Town Silverdale is home to many salons, restaurants, and medical offices.

How far away is this town from Seattle?
It’s about 1:00-1:30 from Seattle
Ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge, and from Bainbridge to Silverdale is about 40-45 minutes of straight up highway/freeway driving.
First time that Silverdale Washington did have a population slightly declined between 2010 and 2020, from 19,500 to 18,500, and it is still unincorporated community. Silverdale will never going to be a cityhood.
Yep we're still in winter though it's supposed to be Spring. Welcome to the land of mediocrity. We have no quaint downtown. The water at the waterfront experiences annual raw sewage spills. Restaurants lots but wouldn't go out of my way to eat one. I've been blessed by losing my sense of taste cause their food is bland. Yes we have a lot of hospitals. Our industry is Shipyard, retirement warehouses and poorly run understaffed mega hospitals. Crime is on the rise and well we're best seen in your rearview mirror. Truly we're on seventh month of cold, rain and snow.

The property crime is bad but I would be more concerned if it had a high murder rate which it doesn't. Also most hospitals are ran like that unfortunately and food is subjective but that's why they created a thing called cooking your own food. Trust me as a chef I have seen people trash high quality food while eating dog grade meats.

This is so funny.. Why do you keep using the wrong seasons for the year. Going to throw someone off in the future.... Winter 2023 doesn't start till December 21st 2023... Today is July 1st 2023... Your video should be titled Winter 2022. This video was released 3 months ago so technically you are not even in winter anymore, winter 2022 ended March 19 to 21.
