You can tell when bands really like each other and have fun together on tour…cause stuff like this happens. Saw them in Pittsburgh and was same vibe from both bands. 🤘
I was in the balcony for this show, what an amazing time! When he came out dressed as Joakim the whole crowd lost it. Sabaton is my favorite band and it was so amazing to see them live for the first time
That was just amazing. I had hoped Epica and Sabaton would have a jam at the Pittsburgh show, but I understand it's always the last night that gets this kind of stuff. Glad you shared it!
I saw them in Cincinnati early on in the tour. In between Swedish Pagans and To Hell and Back, they did Run to the Hills, and Tommy killed it on the vocals!
I was in NYC for this show. Second time seeing Sabaton, first time with Epica. This show was FUCKING GREAT. Both bands were awesome. Hope to see both again soon.
@Joakim Brodén oh absolutely enjoyed both times ive seen you. Once at Louder then life and once in Cincinnati and both shows were amazing. Both times I took a friend who had never heard of you and they are both now lifelong fans as well.
That looks fucking sick. I'll be see both bands in Scotland 2023 Epica in feb with Apocalyptica and Sabaton on my birthday In April not too bothered either support as baby metal and lordi are shit. What happened with The Hu (BM replaced them) I would've liked to see them.
Tommy Johansson, sabaton lead guitar. He has a youtube channel and he is an amazing singer, go check him out! I have personally been hoping he would get to sing a bit on some of their songs for a while, some fresh powermetal screaming
@@maxsmith8196 I think he actually needs to move on from Sabaton to do his own thing. That being said I absolutely love Sabaton and Tommy but I feel he needs to fly.
@@maxsmith8196 He is also the singer and guitarist of Majestica. And he does most of the music for Floor Jansens home studio postings. Swedish champion in karaoke aswell. Really a man of many talents,
I don't get the throwing booze out there like that. I loved their show in Boston. Wasn't a huge fan of Epica but was fun. Would be annoyed if that chick threw booze on me and my daughter. Thank goodness she didn't do this at Boston. sabaton was frigging amazing incredible musicians and top notch showmanship in Boston. I hope they come to America again.
It's a heavy metal concert. Grow up! How old are you two? Geez It's sad when someone in their 50's has a better grip on what is fun at a metal concert than someone bringing their children to the floor.
@@suran396 My dude, I know what is fun at a metal concert, I've been to many, as I'm sure you have. I once had Lizzy Borden smear fake blood on my face in the front row, that was fun. I don't think having vodka dumped on me is particularly fun, especially when she was pouring it as if for the fans to drink, only to just flick it at them. Now I don't believe she meant it to be rude, but if you're gonna pour the alcohol, just bend down and give it to a fan.
@@metashadow3924 context matters. Dump vodka on me in most places and I will not be amused. Same with fake blood smearing. Context matters. BTW we had a great time at the concert (different venue.) Hope to see them next year!
Seeing Simone pour it on first and then throw it away instead of handing it to the fans (if she really wanted to, which I doubt), I found it embarrassing. And over and over again...absolutely useless and I would even say humiliating. But "no one else's blood flows" as they say...
I had the honor to see SABATON & NIGHTWISH together, it was an AMAZING vibe!
so did i back in 2013 though

That was a fun night as well, was right by Tommy

These guys are awesome to hang around too. @@Slick-ng5kf
THIS... this is why I love live shows, you can't get this kind of energy from any recording!

This was freaking hilarious
I was the guy who screamed freebird at 7:18
Saw them on this tour in Las Vegas. Epica and sabaton in the same night?! Yes!! Easily the best double billing I’ve ever seen.
Love how Joakim just flips off Tommy for wanting to play swedish pagans but goes with it anyways. Love this band
Its a meme. Happens every time now. Its the best part. :D
That was just amazing. I had hoped Epica and Sabaton would have a jam at the Pittsburgh show, but I understand it's always the last night that gets this kind of stuff. Glad you shared it!
Just Phenomenal 🤘🤘🎸♥️♥️♥️ Two fantastic bands playing music and having fun ♥️♥️♥️
Great song. Love Sabaton
OMG that was so much fun‼️👍😁 Thanks so much for sharing👍👍👍
... that hat looks really good on both Chris and Joakim!
I saw them in Cincinnati early on in the tour. In between Swedish Pagans and To Hell and Back, they did Run to the Hills, and Tommy killed it on the vocals!
You know a band has gotten big when the frontman has his own stunt double XD
Thank you!! 🤘

Excellent!
Saw them in Seattle, it was Fing amazing 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I was at Silver Spring, MD great show, small venue packed show and a line about 3 blocks on a Thursday night. Awesome
thanks for the share
That's was so great😂😂😂 Huge thanks for sharing!
Now we know what a Metal Toast looks like.😁
It’s a seven hour drive from Sabaton’s hometown to Hell. And none of it is highway.
I understood that reference
@@OneTrueVikingbard I don't please explain
😂🤘🏻👌
Aww man im a little jealous! Seen them in Cincinnati and didn't get this interaction! Great share of 2 amazing bands!

I was just diving into my ex-skateboarding life and stumbled onto rodney mullen. I have now discovered Sabaton at 51. Alkemyst approves.
7 string guitar comment at the end had me ROFL
Holy crap that's good
I can't complain as I got to see the swedish version of Gott Mitt Uns but this would have been awesome
My god!!!!
Thats fun! Thats Heavy Metal!
That's me on the left with the sabaton wrist band 👌👌
The New York audience missed the opportunity to scream Noch ein Beer!!
I was at this concert, fucking sick
Me too! But I was in the second balcony
If that's you singing, you have a great voice! :D

What song is this I’m new to sabaton?
Swedish Pagans
Shouldn't there be any singing with Tommy and Simone ..?
Urokin looks good as a Cowboy.
What is this leg? Human leg? And why thy they closed up like light version of Slipknot?
Joakim Brodén met his long lost brother's xD
Wdym Sabaton X Epica and this is a NA only tour ? Gotta go cry in the distance...

I agree, I was watching and thinking the same exact thing. Why even pour it in the cup if you're just going to dump it on the fans?
