She was just 15 here her voice has matured a lot and it seems she has found her own style now :)
15 year old Faouzia is just crazy. I'd like to see her do this cover again now that her voice is more mature but I wonder if she can even go this deep anymore!
I'm ahead of the pack today. 🙂 I've seen quite a few reactions where Faouzia and Adele are compared. And it makes sense. There's a similar timbre to their voices. They both have a rich lower register. And they can both belt to the heavens. I love Adele too. I was lucky to see her live, on her tour for that first album, "19". When her only real hit was "Hometown Glory". And it was evident, that night in Montréal, in April of 2009, that this artist was destined for greatness. And I'm head over heels in love with Faouzia. I think she has the stronger voice, and better runs. Not to take anything away from Adele. She's world class. But there's something special about Faouzia that's kind of intangible. But evident. My favorite covers are Sting's "Desert Rose", when she showcases her Arabic heritage. And Eiffel 65's "Blue", that she turns completely on it's head. I'm really enjoying your channel!
