That one thing you were wondering about is a ice pack! But its missing the lid for the end of it but you could still use without the lid! Good find!!
Just Me Kathy - found a dumpster full of Kraft American cheeses - large pack. There is a voluntary recall on them because a tiny piece of the plastic film could remain on the cheese - well duh! That happens all the time with unwrapping those singles. Keep an eye out.

Theres a lot of dumpster diving channels out there but I love your videos..because you are responsible folk..you check stuff clean up...dont feed rubbish like bad meat to your dogs...the house looks clean and organized...you dont hoard stuff in the yard...and you donate...I love you guys

Great save, if y'all can't use stuff I know you help others, thank you for sharing because I live through all of y'all who dive because I am sick and home bound and I so wish I could go out and save stuff and help others to plus save on our groceries as well.

Watch out for chicken snakes. I had 1 that bit me I was living in Highland Texas. It was a hybrid chicken snake/cottonmouth. I was told by a specialist that they can inter breed. It landed me in ICU 48 hours, hospital for 2 weeks with a morphine pump. The ER took me back over an older woman who was having a heart attack. As soon as I told the intake nurse that I was bitten by a venomous snake. She rushed & told the nurses & doctors. They rushed a wheelchair out to me. They wouldn't allow me to even stand up at all. They lifted me from the chair put me into the wheelchair & rushed me back to a trauma room. Brought in the paddles & also life support as well. I didn't realize I was in that much in danger of maybe dying. Oddly enough I stayed really calm. I don't know how I stayed that calm tbh. 2 days after getting out. I was given a baby ball python.

I like the voice overs more , no cut outs ,even coverage . Stay with this format !!!!
The toilet brush belongs to the plastic container that you threw over to the side.
The inside of the container holds little disc's that have a cleaning solution on them and then you scrub the inside of your toilet bowl.
Once you're finish with the disc you push a button and it comes off.
Meanwhile, on the same plastic container is a small hole and that's where you will put the wand.
It's a really cool tool to use and it's a shame you didn't know what it was.
The cleaning disc's come in a plastic bag and it can hold up to 10 ( I think ).
There's the main brand Colorox and then there's a generic kind also.
I know sometimes a cheaper brand works just as well as a major brand but in this case it's best to buy the Colorox ones.
They have the most cleaning solution on the disc's.
Please Make sure that you keep the disc's in the bag with the container because the bathroom floor can get wet and therefore ruin them.

The wand goes in the dispenser you found The cleaner scrubber refills go in the large part and the wand after you release the sponge sets in the front in the opening It’s Clorox wand and you can buy the refills at the store

Yes. When I decide I want/need something, I talk about it, what kind I want, etc. Nothing to do with the cost. I go to yard sales, thrift stores, swap meets, and Craiglist. I usually end up with exactly what I was looking for....but didn't have to pay (much) for it. Put it out there to the Gods! LOL. Love the idea of dumpster food, and I understand about the expiration dates and reality. I'd be grabbing all the produce, meat, cheese, paper goods.....all the chips, candy, snacks, and things in cans and boxes (no cooking necessary) go directly to the homeless shelter.
I honestly like the voice over. I love the everyday banter you two have. Its calming, its funny, its playful, its informative/wise its very beautiful... btw you can tell physically you are smaller you both have more energy. Your voice over is great... just another natural talent. Your humble honest amazing family life is a breath of fresh air.
P.S. creating shortages of food including pet food is what our govt does. It pays farmers not to farm.

I believe that “filter” thing is actually one of those reusable ice bags with a screw top. The smaller ones are used for the face.

That toilet wand wasn't broken! You get the little clorox pad that snap right on it and when you're done, you just push that button and put it in the trash without having to touch anything. The toilet holder that you saw goes with it. The little clorox pads go inside and the wand goes in the hole on the front. Always love watching you guys!

I love the chips flying out of the dumpster. The o-gauge train tracks could easily be pre-WWII. Pre-1960 at worst. I was literally raised with those in my living room for three months of the year.

For the canned dog food, you can sometimes mix some in a bowl with a bit of water to make it into a thick gravy that coats the dry kibble better and stretches the can of food longer.
I've done that before. It does make it better and helps a lot mixing it with water. My dog loves it. The bowl would be licked clean. Lol.
