As a German I approve of your choice of bikes
Haha danke!!!!
what a beautiful canyon bike, i will work hard to be able to afford that bike soon. this was a great video btw.
Or work less and have more time riding bikes xD
You will not regret it, absolute dream to ride!!
Thank you for your kind comment 🫡
What tires on the Storck? Interesting results. I did aero tests with my Colnago C40 vs Pinarello Dogma and the Dogma was approx .3mph faster. This is as 25-26mph average. Same wheels and tires
Yeah forgot to mention the tyres in the video apologies for that, Vittoria Corsa NEXT tyres on the storck. WOW THATS HUGE 😮 🤯
@cyclemunky notice I said (.)3 mph. Which is not much at all. And honestly. I think bc the waterbottles are not shielded on my C40 like the Dogma... that is most of the difference.
@@tommyfreckmann6857 my bad I misread that I did think that seemed extremely high 🤣
Another note is the tyres on the Storck were 26mm front and back as that’s the biggest I can fit due to clearance.
Good video
Very kind thank you 🙏🏻
Yeah the speed's fine for marginal gains, but it's less than 1 kph. I wouldn't call that Mega if you're spending thousands of dollars.
Turns out marginal gains are expensive my friend
Nice video, but i don't think is a fair comparison.
1. DT SWISS wheels with ceramic bearing?
2. When is ur last time u service ur STORCK?
3. New groupset vs old groupset, basically old vs new drivetrain.
So yeah, I'm not convince new bike is better than old bike.
Thank you mate really appreciate the comment!!
The STORCK was serviced about 2 months ago and is kept immaculate as I use it to race 10 mile TT’s, it’s a new crankset with new waxed chain so it’s about as good as it gets for an older bike. DT SWISS rims are on ceramic bearings but this was the whole idea behind the video to see how the newer tech etc has affected my racing and everyday riding speeds, which I think you’ll agree 40-50 seconds over a 10 mile distance is huge. 10 mile TT’s are won and lost on seconds so it’s a huge difference for me personally. 🤘🏻
