  • Completely self sufficient gold mining and milling equipment all mounted on a truck bed for ultimate mobility and sampling. This flat bed has a 6x10 jaw crusher and a 16x12 hammer mill, both run by gasoline engines, mounted directly to the bed. The hammer mill feeds directly into a pop and son sluice box to capture the liberated free gold during the crushing and milling process. It can be driven into your claims/tailings/dump piles for testing or small scale production. It is an awesome tool and addition to any mine, producing valuable info about the site and much needed cash flow for the small scale miner. This same set up could be mounted on a trailer as well.

  • @Porty1119
    @Porty1119 Před 3 lety +19

    That's awesome! We have a slightly smaller jaw and pulverizer at our lab for sample prep, both run by electric motors. Some bench-scale metallurgical testing has shown that gravity concentration of the ore we're working with upgrades gold values by about 40%, with 90% recovery.
    If I were up feeding that mill, I'd be wearing gloves, ear protection, and an N95. I believe I've lost a bit of lung capacity from dust exposure at crushing plants, and that never comes back.

    That is such a good way to get a good idea on what to expect in your ore from inside the mine, if you run a half ton and do an analysis and if it's good your on the right track inside your mine if not then you try another location in the mine and do the same process until you find which way you want to go in your mine.

    Miners moss is great stuff, but ideally, it could use a little more cleaning. Consider taking a concrete mixing tub next time, where you have alot more room to roll the mat out and really give it a good thrashing. See if that doesn't yield some more values.

    my only concern is the silica dust cloud. that stuff is worse than breathing asbestos dust it my opinion. it killed more miners than black lung and mining accidents combined when pneumatic drilling was introduced to mining. until water was introduced to keep the dust down. you had kids there . everyone should be wearing respirators. find a way to reduce the dust water whatever.

Having a single-pass piece of equipment to pull behind a tractor that can pick up large rock, crush it, then drop small gravel back into the field would be pretty attractive to farmers in regions with rocky soils.

    I don't know how old the claim is, but back in the day I am guessing they would have tested for silver by some of the goofy silver tests there are, and if there were no silver, chucked heavy rocks with gold, even though they had quartz, etc. I could see copper staining being like that. And if the ore being chased tended to have a lot of calcite, then you would have piles with just trace calcite left behind. Lately, I like to test ore with a penny -- be softer than a 3 Mohs, and who cares if there's any gold!?!?

Jaw Crusher, impact mill, ball mill, sluice, shaker table, flux, smelter, roaster, delivery, and or mounted all within a sound dampened mini shipping container. I tried reaching out a few months back by elect. Mail from soar llc (oneword) at outlook. Its very much needed. Ty much Kyle.
