The animal bags would make great rewards for kids. Like "brush your teeth for a week and pick a blind bag" or idk but something like that would have motivated me as a kid to keep my room clean lol

The little cutie at 21:42 is a sea slug! They come in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. There is even one that can photosynthesize like a plant!

The one "doing photosynthesis" is called Elysia tímida. But they are not really doing photosynthesis. They keep the chloroplasts of algae they eat which they do profit off. I personally haven't worked with them but I did my master's degree in a university group that studies Elysia tímida and how they use chloroplasts.

The one before the yellow dragon is a Nudibranch (pronouced as noo-dee-bronk). They're really cool sea slug type creatures very popular to take pictures of while scuba diving because they have so many different colour shapes and sizes, it's always a blast when we find them down there.
I have an idea! I think you should give these a makeover! Re-painting them and add some extra on to them! It would be a cool series! Love you Jackie and keep up the amazing work!
the black and white marine animal you got toward the beginning was indeed a shark. if the tail was horizontal instead of verticle, it'd be an orca
And orcas don't have guills
they also have a different color pattern than sharks! I'd bet it was meant to be a great white.
That second turtle would be AWESOME as a mini pool floatie for a pool side photo scene!
As a Dungeons and Dragons fan, miniature make-overs are 100% a thing haha.
My friend added a braid on one of mine with stuff called “green stuff” and that might work for adding certain details to these miniature things well.

In answer to the plushie question, I have to admit my bias as a maker of such things. Give me hand made plushies! Dragons, bears, cats, I'm not always particular. As long as the critter appeals to me, it's likely I'll purchase it! I love supporting fellow crafters - and appreciate all the support I've received over the years.
No doubt in my mind some of the mini's would look loads beter after a makeover. 🤣 ik would love to see your take, Jackie!

I think these would also be great in little resin environments like little terrariums in the gacha balls like that one pokemon blind box set. Or in things like thick bottomed coasters or containers.
28:33 that's not a mistletoe, that's a holly ;D. A mistletoe has pale green leafs and white berries. Anyway, for the mistletoe question I'm from North Italy, and we also have that tradition. Before Christmas they sell it, to decorate the house, and I remember my great aunt taking it from trees, in the mountain.

I have been bedridden for 3 weeks due to my hurting my back again. I’m waiting on more tests and release from the doctor before I can go back to work. This is the first time I have actually smiled. Yes, the animal bags! I bought a batch of them myself a while ago, and they work perfectly as toys or decorations in my Lundby dollhouse that I'm renovating. It was fun seeing them appear in this. :) I got the yellow watermelon-dog, too, and I spraypainted it white to make it look like a porcelain decoration. :)

I really like this unboxing. My favorite set is the animals - really cute 😍 And I'm so happy for you!! Not a double in sight 😆 Yes, the proportions were a little off, and some of the artwork needs help, but overall - very impressed. Please buy more of these. 🥰

Fun fact about the mistletoe tradition. It allegedly comes from the myth where Baldur, the Asir loved by all the other Gods, got killed by an arrow made of mistletoe. Why it turned into "you have to kiss under the mistletoe" I have no idea, but that's the "explanation" I've always gotten when asked

In the UK we have the same tradition of kissing under Mistletoe, plus it grows here in the trees as a parasite, which are collected by farmers and sold at Christmas time. I had no idea that you have the same tradition in Canada, that's very cool. Does it grow in Canada too? God bless you and your family.
It grows in America so probably Canada too and it's tradition over here as it was European immigrants that brought the tradition

@3:55 it's a great white shark. @20:40 is a hamster. @21:25 its a type of goose called a Chinese goose. The bump on it's head its part of it's regular features. @21.43 is a sea slug. @23:06 looks like it's supposed to be a Scarlet-throated Tanager. I love tiny things like this, they are very cute. Sorry you got skunked on the drinks batch. The animals are adorable and with repainting could be really neat.
Do Great Whites come in black? Since you are obv smart, don't get offended but you spelled "its" wrong. "It's a type of goose" and "bump on its head"

You're too funny. As for your white "cat", the Calico, it could be an Arctic Fox. Their winter coats are pure white, sometimes with black tips at ears, tail and/or paws. The area around their eyes can also look like they're wearing eyeliner and a smokey eye.

No joke, it would be cool if you reviewed miniature painting tools. As in tools for painting miniatures like warhammer stuff. Like the little stands that hold them for you and palettes that keep your paint wet and stuff.
