I always get sensory toys that are “made for kids” because they’re just so fun, colorful, and happy. I see nothing wrong with owning “kids” stuff. Childhood is fleeting, man. You don’t have to make an inner child excuse. Just live the way you want.
They say they're for kids because they're actually to help kids develop and learn motor and mental skills. It isn't because they're colourful. Yes, other people can use them, but you can't get mad if you don't like it as an adult lol

It's really nice to hear that fidgets have no age restrictions from jackie herself, my favorite fidgets were always plushies for babies with crinkle foil inside, so I'm basically an older teen walking around with baby toys in order to not panic in public, it makes me really scared of what others will think
Pro tip, cat toys! They make all sorts of crinkle cat toys in every shape and size. My favorite one is a felt gnome and his whole little body crinkles. Makes my heart happy.
Good for you for finding something that works well for you Julian. I'm 62 and my parents went to Las Vegas when I was five and brought me back one of those little slot machines. Fidget toys have been around since time began but they didn't have names for them. Bic lighters was one of the first and most popular fidget toys. I don't know if you ever heard the expression flick your Bic but we sure did. I'm just wondering if slot machines are extremely expensive and large fidget toys.

@@FrenchFryCreations I have to tell you Julian. My brother lived to fidget with Bic lighters which caused him to end up with everyone's in his pocket. He literally had a drawer at home that was full to the brim with lighters. This was the day when everyone smoked and as soon as they saw him walk in the room they immediately picked there's up and put them in their pocket. Is it just me or have you noticed that they don't last anywhere near as long as they used to. Also you used to get a few extra lights before they burnt out and now they go from working perfectly to running out of fluid in one click. As a connoisseur I thought you might have noticed. Lol
@@dixierae3442 oh yeah they are worse quality now run out of liquid rather quickly and sometimes break for bo reason, I switched to clipper lighters, they make a little smoke circle when lit, very satisfying
I'm pretty sure the 'shock absorber' one was just a keychain made too look like the shock absorber on a car, and not actually intended as a fidget. Probably same thing with the hear shift.

I actually kind of liked the solar system one. But everyone can have their own preferences! ^_^ I prefer hand held fidget toys to desk toys. The art was really bright and cute. The planets were actually in order and labeled. So it could be educational for small children. (Pluto is a controversial discussion even among the top scientists, so I try not to hold its inclusion (or not) against anyone.) I'd also have been sitting there spinning it like a top for an hour, easy. 😂
From experience most people (who were around before it was considered a dwarf planet) in Arizona consider it a planet because it was discovered here LMAO
Yeah I've studied Pluto's classification for a school assignment and a lot of the reasons for it's demotion are simply because we have just found similar sized objects in both the asteroid belt and outer belt of the solar system. Not to mention Pluto's awkward revolution that makes it ahead of Neptune for some time. Just kinda if Pluto counts as a proper planet, the other objects will have to as well, and as we're still discovering things about even our solar system its either have an ever changing and growing list of "planets" or just have the all a "lower" class.

For the gear stick one, I got one for my Dad. It’s good for helping him with his grip. Sometimes his hands can’t quite grip right and he keeps dropping things. It kinda focuses him on what he’s doing with his hands without it seeming like a chore. Him and his doctors love it
The planet "pop it" is actually a simple simple. Different from pop it's, you can't use them on falt surfaces. They are usually used for babies so they can hold them and stuff but ya I have a paint pallet simple simple and little keychain ones. They are pretty nice when wanting to fidget in my hand!
It makes me happy that you're not going to order from them again. I really appreciate public displays of taking a stand against unfair/illegal/unethical business practices and there are a lot of younger people who really look up to you and your opinion matters greatly. I don't feel like you owe it to anyone to be a role model or whatever, but taking an opportunity to use your platform for good is always admired.

The "shock absorber for men charm" it is a shock absorber for your car. When you drive on a bumpy road the shock absorber takes the impact to smooth out the ride, so you're not moving up and down the whole time while driving. I love your videos and being a crafter myself I really enjoy them. If you have any craft kits wedding related I would love to see those! Getting married this October 1st and I am trying to DIY everything for the wedding. P.S. You're a wonderful person!

I support not supporting Shein, but honestly I think no matter where you buy poor quality plastic toys that will soon go in the trash it's still not good for the environment and you still support harmful businesses.
To be fair, a lot of fidget toys that are marketed toward kids (and this applies to the planet pop fidget) aren't meant to necessarily be fidgeted with while sitting at a desk... Most kids who have these types of fidgets, use them for places where they're prone to sensory overload like a grocery store, mall, etc... They have to focus on the thing so they don't have meltdowns
I smiled when I noticed that the icosa balls looks like they have little salty frowns from the way Jackie's lighting shines on them. (around 12:26 in the video and really most of the time she is testing them) was I the only one to notice this?

The planets were actually in the right order on the pop-it. The small grey one is Mercury, the orange one next to it is Venus, then Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. I don’t know if Pluto is a planet, although I am pretty sure it isn’t.

I love that you always advocate for ANY age using these toys/fidgets. Due to severe trauma in my childhood I tend to "regress" at times or really get deep therapeutic calming from toys made for "younger" ages. So yeah, thanks for that! It touches my heart. Because a lot of people look down on that.

The mokuru is not a fidget toy but a skill toy i would say. Like Yoyos, pen spinning, Kendama, Begleri.. might be another interesting topic for you to get into, but also needs some practice to have fun with. The Mokuru is kind of a boring one tbh

I would very much recommend getting a silicone sponge type thing thats supposed to be for dishes but make good fidget toys because they have a very nice texture. I think they're on amazon under the name "squidgy thingy" but its like the ones with all the silicone (i think you would call them) bristles.

If you ever get the chance, perhaps see if you can get "tricky fingers". I had it as a kid, could spend hour just sitting there fiddling with it, moving the coloured marbles into different patterns. Mostly brainless, pretty quiet and fun.

@@SH-sq6pz It does take awhile to recover from pain issues. I used to regularly craft and I haven't been able to do any crafting for about a year because of pain problems. It can be hard to get motivated to do crafts when you aren't feeling well.

I have the galaxy one and I love it. The different pressures of the different pops and the sounds make it a 9/10 for me. I don't really use popits on desks anyway, so holding it is not a big deal for me.

Hey Jackie! The Atomic Icosa ball really reminded me of ballies, the hair ties that you have to wrap around themselves to tie! I don't know if kids still wear them, I didn't have many of them growing up, but I remember tying them together and clicking those flower barrettes together when I was a little grain. I wonder if the Atomic Ball thing was playing on that idea?

I just saw some of the ballies at Walmart on Saturday in AL . They were on the shelf with different things that weren't ballies so I don't know the price of them . I used to use these on little girl's hair when I would babysit them. They were alot of fun to use and we used to call them "do - dads" !
That's what one of the parents would call them .
There were several of these toys that would be much more satisfactory if you didn't look at them, assume you knew how they are supposed to work, and then toss them aside when they don't work like you assumed they were supposed to.
Example: the flat plastic thing with the balls in liquid that you can push around. You were trying to push the balls around with the toy flat on the table. Drspite what yhe video ad showed, i don't think it was originally designed to work that way. It didn't work very well the way you did it. You picked it up, moved the balls around, said it works fine this way, then gave it a low score because it didn't work when you did it the wrong way.
The toys that said they were for men were labeled that way because men tend to have greater hand strength and that was what was required to use them. In truth, you didn't like them because they were not designed for people like you (or me - I also have chronic pain in my joints). I'm mean, please make up your mind if you are rating things by your preferences or by if they work properly, etc.
Same thing with the hedgehog toy (the table one, not the pop one - there different issues with that one that I won't go into). It was light weight because 1. it was cheap, and 2. it was meant for small children. Nothing wrong with playing with children's toys. Just don't rate them using the same standards you would toys made for adults (not to be confused with "adult toys" 😉)
It makes me so frustrated when you try things that don't work for you and toss them aside, even though they appear to be able to work fine if you used them correctly. Granted, there are some things that are more simple and easy to figure out, but are designed poorly or made cheaply, like the pop-ball hedgehog. Those are the ones that should get the low scores; not just the ones that do things you personally don't like, or don't work like you wrongly assume they should. You do this same thing with craft kits, but that's a whole different subject.
Sorry for all the salt. It's just that I like you and your videos, Jackie, and it drives me crazy when you do the things I talked about above. Please read the included instructions if they are provided. They aren't provided and you can't google them, think for a minute to figure things out before declaring them defective.
Now I feel like I've said my piece. I can just watch your videos without shouting at the screen.

I actually have the solar system one, it's pretty nice to use, though I do wish I could use it on a desk or something instead of just hand held, but each planet has a different hardness and pop.

The shock absorber is "for men" because shock absorbers are the main part that people think of when thinking of a car's suspension. Basically, they are selling under the stereotype that men like cars.

The nee doh balls are pretty good tbh, but I'd recommend the smaller ones. They have a specifically mini size that fits my little T-Rex baby hands perfectly. Nice for if you need something to just mindlessly squeeze on.
That gear shift one is really tempting, no lie. But that may be because my first two cars were manuals XD
The muti colored ball thing reminds me of the hair tie we had back in the 90s. Take a couple of those and tie them together and bam you made your own.
