Loved this video too! You inspire all of us, your fans! Guess what!? I just received your book from Amazon, sat down in the recliner, and looked at every page! It's a fabulous book, and you did a wonderful job! I recommend to all "Treasure Books" fans!
Thank you!!!!!
I'm sure it is a marvelous work! For my own opinion is that GOD has truly anointed Natasha for this #treasurebook thing! I love her work, and I love her tutorials!!❤️
@@TreasureBooks❤❤❤
I just adore you. You're so real. I love that you're honest. And I love that you're all over the place sometimes. That's the true spontaneous creative. I can very much relate to having too much stuff. It's actually stealing my peace. So I've been sorting again, but one thing that truly resonated with me today was the fact that I have to get rid of stuff I just flat have too much and in my lifetime I will never use it all up. But what I do want to say I got great ideas from you today. Thank you so much for sharing your gift, your inspiration and your time with us. It's truly looked forward to, and don't worry about pressuring yourself for us. We'll be here whenever you get your videos out❤.
Thank you. I need to get her book!!
Asemic writing would be a therapeutic way to process things. Then I thought, it would be hilarious if an archeologist, in years to come, found the very journal, with the yellow page and purple flower, filled with asemic writing, and believed they translated it into some grand philosophical statement when really it was jibber-jabber. 😂 Made me laugh out loud. PS: Thank you for your inspiration.
😂
😂😂Lol I would Love to see the how the archeologist trying hard to interpret the Asemic writing.
I also would Love to see what they say about all the junk journals they found. 🤔🤔🤔
😂 soooo true!
😅
You must have the most amazing dreams with that creative spirit living inside of you!! Thank you for all the uniqueness you inspire in us!! Blessings from Betty in Ohio.
I love the fact that you’re so real. You don’t try to act like you love everything you make, but you’re also not shy about saying that you love how something came out. You are creative, clever, and most important, genuine. Thank you!
If I was limited to just one video maker to watch, it would be YOU!
Thank you so much!!
Please do not take this the wrong way, but I LOVED the rambling content today! I love your personality. "It doesn't have to be perfect." But in the next scene, you fix the imperfection. You're professional. You're real. You're hilarious. I had a bad week at work where over 100 employees were laid off. Today's video taught me, inspired me, but most importantly, made me LAUGH. Thank you! 💜
Oh, that must have been really tough to deal with. So sorry you had to face that but very glad you chose Natasa to lift your spirits.
I'm learning!
This lifted my spirits tremendously: I am 70 and have developed an intention tremor in my left hand (I’m left-handed). So, now more and more often there are struggles with writing, cutting, gluing, sewing, etc. Your asemic writing struck me immediately 🤦🏼♀️! Even though it wasn’t planned for this video, it was a fortuitous lightening bolt of hope for me; I can write without writing!!! Whodda thunk!!! While I will use all your print-masking tips from today, the asemic writing is the treasure I will take to my workroom tonight and will “un-write” for the sheer fun of it. 😊❤
I understand your challenge! I, too, have Essential Tremor Disorder and I'm continuing to find new ways to craft with my challenges! 🤗🙏🤗
Don't be so hard on yourself. Your ideas are fine and you really bring joy into my life! It makes me sad to see how much you put down your ideas. you are an inspiration to me. Keep your game face on!
Thank you so much. I too have noticed that I do that. I need to stop. I
You may have felt alone and abandoned, but for us, we were spending time with a friend. Still here, as always.
“I’m still here”. So inspiring as always ! Thank you for sharing so generously in your videos.
Thank you so much!!
That ‘sewing with yarn’ technique produces such beautiful, textured results. I love listening to your musings and creations. 😊 You’re a cut above the rest. 💃 I was still there. 😅
Don’t feel bad about this you inspire everyone with your creativity I appreciate all your inspiration and creativity I love how you recycle thank you

Years ago, my daughter got me a journal and I haven't done much with it except for write down some inspirational quotes. Now that I have watched your videos, this journal is in grave danger of being severely altered.
I’m still here and I ramble as well. Got quite a number of ideas from you today, appreciate the inspirational help. Have a beautiful day!
You have so many great ideas. I think you are too hard on yourself because even when you think something doesn’t look good, you manage to fix it with additional embellishments. You inspire me each and every time you post a new video. I love it all!!!
I LOVE these ideas to use book pages. For some of us it’s not obvious! Thank you for keeping it simple sometimes. Love the black paint, paper strips and pads and the doodles. 👏
“you can throw in some swear words”…love that! Great video, as always. Thanks for sharing your creativity w us❤
I would rather watch unplanned videos because you never know what you’re gonna get. Thanks for sharing. This is awesome thanks for the inspiration.
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching :)
Yes, I am still here!
You are so inspiring to me every single time I see you. I am amazed that you can think of so many different things day after day, week after week! Sewing yarn on paper is something I never would’ve thought of in 1 million years. Thank you so much for all the amazing ideas!
I invite you to not diss yourself, please. That pic looks awesome and the writing looks cool, feel free to express frustrations and to want to do or be even better or more uniquely you, but you're prettier, more successfully creative and published than many of us and we look up to you. :-)
I was still there until the end. You made me smile. What most inspired me was the very thing you were unsure about. I liked that you moved with the flow and although it wasn't according to the plan, you let the muse guide you. I don't think you were abandoned at all, just inspired to work with what was on your desk. Thank you.
I love the simplicity of these techniques that turn something ordinary into something absolutely over the top fabulous! I had a teacher in middle school that used to get sidetracked all the time when she was teaching. She called it bird watching. She would get off topic then say, "Oops! I'm bird watching again!" I thought it was so funny that I use that term in my classroom now 30 years later. Haha!!! Take care and thank you for all of your marvelous videos. I've learned so much from you! The longer I watch the more I crack up at your commentary!!!! I absolutely love how your personality shines through into your videos!!!
Love, love, love it. I always come away from your videos infused with inspiration and a million ideas. Some techniques feel so obvious, yet we are oblivious to them until someone like you points it out. I always enjoy your ability to mix textures so effortlessly. I have lots of paper strips and book pages in my crafting space that are currently calling my name!
This! ❤
I luv everything you do- God Bless you and all your ideas. I’ll be getting busy dibbing and dabbing and see what I can come up with as well!! I will start w my sewing machine!! Tyou for yr inspiration and looking at yr journal cover w pretty lace and buttons on left side- simply gorgeous!!❤️
Natasa you are too hard on yourself. Everything was great. The sewing pieces really inspired me. I'm still here and will ALWAYS be. You crack me upa!!!!
Great ideas when you are in a slump like me....I am still here. :)
I’m gradually making my way through your videos Natasa, you are such an inspiration to me, I’ve been gathering bits and pieces together for literally years-I’m a frugal person who likes to repurpose things but haven’t got round to making a junk journal yet. I find it hard to just go for it and have to plan everything which really holds me back! The more I watch you, the more I’m inspired to just go for it and I’ve started making tabs and labels to go into my journal. This video has sparked so many ideas and I especially like the sewing tips for the yarn stitching-so clever to thread the yarn through a straw (or piece of penne!) and I’m going to give it a go! I’ve found in the past that I watch a lot of your videos for inspiration but don’t actually get round to the crafting bit so that’s my new resolution to watch your video and then create something from all your amazing ideas. Thank you for your precious time and for sharing all your amazing creativity with us🥰
You also made me laugh a lot when you were talking about Asemic writing and getting it all out!😂
I'm a fiber artist, first and foremost, so your hack for sewing over yarn is amazing! I have a ridiculous amount of yarn that I've spun and dyed over the years and there is no way I'll ever be able to knit, crochet, weave, etc. it all. Now I can incorporate it into my junk journaling. You are so talented and I really appreciate you for sharing your creative genius with us. Have a great night!
Yes, Natasa, still here!😂 We ALWAYS need to be reminded of cool ways to use up the book pages!
Thank you so much for watching till the end!!
I am 7 minutes into the video......BRILLIANT! Now, back to watching!
Fantastic! Thank you so much ❤️
Still here! Love the honesty, the giddiness, the way you let us in to the creative process. I had an aha! moment regarding some mix and match sticky notes I have, that look better together than they do separately. Cut into strips, glue on to page, doodle around - done! So easy! Very simple, but it wouldn't have happened without you.
How I love that you always come up with ways to repurpose things for journals. Using book pages in the ways you demonstrated is brilliant. Thanks for the ideas!!
"I'm still here." - I've known the term "junk journal" for years. I've only just really considered making one a few weeks ago. Your videos have been inspiration and muse but also... I really just *didn't* know how to do any of the things you've covered in this video. The same for most of them! I never think about most of the ideas you so easily bring to life and I love learning how to cover book pages, use old envelopes, sew fabric and paper together, or even just ideas for where to add buttons.
I know I'm not the only one. 8 billion people in the world, there are tons of us still learning the basics. And you teach them SO well!
Still here!! Because I love the ramblings and tangents you take us on. Lol😂
I absolutely love how creative ideas just flow as you work.
I like the unplanned experiments and instruction - it keeps it unexpected and interesting!
Natasa’s book is outstanding… jam packed with information and inspiration 😽
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Natash, i can not even begin to describe how much i needed to hear your words on "letting the demons out". I was just sitting at my craft table, crafting and listening to you, and then you said those words.....🥺🤯😮💨. I felt my soul exhale. I have been fighting some nasty words that I've really wanted to say to someone, and that just isn't me. I try very hard to not spew my "demons" on anyone. I wasted way too many years living that way. I had my "ah-ha" moment and changed how I spoke to people. I will go out of my way to be kind and spread some love now. But this one instance has really had me fired up. Again, I absolutely can not even begin to tell you how hard your words landed on my demons. I have since put them to bed and moved on from this situation that blackening my heart. Thank you 🙏🏻 thank you 🙏🏻 thank you 🙏🏻. From the depths of my soul, 🙏🏻thank you. Oh, and.....👌🏻another fantastic video full of wonderful inspiration, giggles and laughs, and all the best parts of you! 🥰
As always so inspiring and down to earth. It's the basics that make creating journals such fun! Start with a piece of paper and GO FORI IT! No one page is the same yet it all started with a basic page. Thanks!
YAY!! a new, happy video from Natasha!!! I so look forward to seeing the notification that you’ve shared your magic with us ❤️
Inspiration comes and goes. Your muse will return soon. I'm still here.
I’m still here….will be now and always….besides all the fun ideas you make me chuckle…can’t wait for next time ❤
Completely inspired by this video! 😊 I love the fun and passion that goes into creating a good “treasure journal.” Having space to write, sketch and paint to share the emotion of the day, is equally as important as building the journal. Keeping all these elements together in one place provides an opportunity to capture the energy of life. Thank you for sharing your ideas and passion.❤
I'm still here!!!! You are very inspiring, every video. I am always pleasantly surprised and a bit in awe by how you come up with new and creative ideas for pages and tags and ephemera. I am new to junk journals, last Autumn I discovered your channel and that was it for me!
Thank you for all you teach us. I really appreciate you and your work.
i can not believe it but it is true...somehow i missed this video from 3 months ago. when i first discovered you i was so inspired i could not wait to see what else you had to offer. i binge watched what i thought was every single one of your videos. i was so happy to be sitting in front of my tv and watch for hours on end. thanks to a question on your fb page i discovered this video. pure joy! i was taking notes for all the inspiration. it came at a perfect time as i am in the middle of embellishing a current jj and will certainly apply some of these fantastic ideas....you are a true gem and you shine each and every time i view your videos. thanks millions for all you do!
Natasa -- not all of us know how to do this stuff. I continue to draw a GREAT deal of inspiration from each of your videos, even those that you are not very happy with in general. Please don't be so hard on yourself. You have creativity oozing from your very soul, in my opinion. And, your writing is FUN!
I LOVE what you did here with the book pages ❤❤❤ - that's why I watched 😅.
I wouldn't give "the creative muse" too much power over my emotions 😉 Sometimes we are bigger and better than it!
What you did was perfect for today ... paper bag can wait it's turn 😂
You inspired me to grab my book pages and paint and doodle ! I’m always looking for ways to add writing spots and you gave me many fresh ideas ! You are such an inspiration, thank you !🦋
I’m still here. I don’t have a sewing machine because I don’t sew, but I loved the other ideas. I like putting the notebook pages on the book page. Don’t be so hard on yourself, you’re human but so CREATIVE. You’re videos inspire me, I have used some of your ideas and put them in a journal I’m working on. I like using the cut offs on the book pages too, great ideas!
Still here! 😂
I miss my sisters who live on the other side of the world to me, and hearing you chattering away like they do is lovely ❤
Love that! Thank you!
Thanks Natasha, your scrapbooking pages and ideas are so adorable and the things you make are very creative, been inspired a lot. I'm making one for my best friend to try cheer her up, the whole thing is Skyrim game themed. When I have a moment of "I don't know what to do next" you help me. Believe it or not I come here and I have an idea right away so thank you, God bless you and your creativity always 🐦🙏❤
I do look forward to your videos. Such great ideas always and I love listening to your commentary. The straw to put the yarn through was a really clever idea and sewing the yarn on paper was something I have never seen. You have such great ideas. Keep up the good work. I love everything you do!!
These ideas have definitely inspired me! So often I start to watch a tutorial, realise I don't have the supplies needed and feel defeated before even giving it a go. Thanks so much for sharing your creative ideas with us! ❤ I appreciate your honesty around not liking everything you make too. As a perfectionist I get discouraged when my work doesn't look how I want it to. I think it's easy to be our own biggest critic. I hope your followers comments remind you that so many love your work! 😊
I am still here! But on my TV and I did the Thumbs up. Lol You always spark inspiration for me. I have made many, many books, journals, and ephemera pieces. Don't stop what you are doing. Your passion transmutes through the air waves or frequencies, and it is contagious!!
I'm still here! I believe the first video of yours that I watched was the Junk Mail Envelope Journal, that now has had 1.1 million views! Amazing ❤
It was likely the first junk journal item that I ever made. I was a little frustrated, not used to this type of craft. It took a lot of time and I didn't have much to work with materials wise. From that time, I have made a Christmas journal, 6 denim journals (inspired by 49 dragonflies) and countless pages of coffee dyed papers and collages.
I am always inspired by your videos, your craft is beautiful but truthfully I keep watching because you are genuine, you make me laugh and you make me feel like I can keep going, keep making things even if they aren't exactly how I expected them to turn out.
And for all this, I thank you ❤
"Feed the yard through the pasta"- lol Sometimes I think I watch your videos for the entertainment as much as for the inspiration. 😂
Hi, Natasa 👋 I've been MIA for a while for no good reason and clicked on this vid because I haven't seen you in what feels like forever and the title caught my eye. I want to make a journal to document something I'm doing right now - something I'm going through - and I have several good sized pamphlets explaining everything that's involved. These are very sturdy materials, and just this morning it occurred to me that any one of them would be an excellent journal base. I had a vague idea of how to create some writing space, but you have absolutely inspired me beyond the simple glued on pieces of paper I had imagined just a few hours ago. I've saved this vid in my "Natasa" file so I can refer back to it in the days and weeks to come. Your timing could not be more perfect! Thanks! Hugs from the southern California desert, MK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗
PS, I didn't know that I could "follow" somebody on Amazon, but I can and I am now "following" you! Your book is AMAZING!!
I love the look of the Asemic Writing! Imagine though, if a journal was preserved for centuries and then discovered, and scientists/historians attempted to decipher pages with this style of writing! Lol!!
IM STILL HERE!😅 Natasa, this video increased my creativity. Thank you! Blessings
I'm so glad! Thanks for watching :)
I'm still here. Lol. I was inspired, especially by the use of the watercolor strips that went beyond the edge of the page. I also liked the way the smaller note pages, placed at angles over each other, left some text around the edges of the writing area in an attractive way. Love the addition of the doodles, too!
I just recently started taking pages out of a few books I got. So I have TONS of book pages on top of my already existing endless pages 🤦🏻♀️ So while watching your video, I pulled out some of the pages from my piles, grabbed some paint, and a brush. Now I’m doing one of my favorite things…painting on book pages! But in a slightly different way than I typically do. Thank you for the inspiration, you are always so inspiring! Even if it’s something we’ve done before, we do so many different things all the time that we can often forget about the things we used to do. Having a reminder or refresher course is never a bad thing. 😊
I love learning from watching your techniques. Absolutely love when you get a creative bug and just start doing them
Thankyou for snapping that shank off with pliers. I did not realize it was that freaking easy. You've changed my life!!!!! ❤❤❤
hahaha I love it! Thank you :)
I'm still here and I've got to be honest, my first thought was that I won't watch this video BUT I am so glad I did!! You never cease to amaze me Natasa. You always have so much to inspire us. You are wonderful. I could so easily make some of these but would not have thought about using the yarn and sewing on top of it. I also wouldn't have thought of just doodling around the edges etc. So many terrific ideas. Thank you 🌷
I had thousands of books collected over a lifetime. I am trying to simplify things now so I sold and gifted as many as I could. I kept the really special ones for myself. Used some for book folding and altered book art. Now I know what I am going to do with some of the ones that are falling apart, damaged, foxed, yellowing etc, etc, that I just can’t bring myself to just throw away. I love your videos, your ideas are so inspiring. Thank you.
Love your honesty about feeling the muse abandoned you
I'm still here- all the way to the end!! Although you call it "rambling," I love that we get a peek into your thoughts and that you're honest with what you like and dislike, what inspires you and what doesn't. I feel really validated when you "go with the muse" instead of what you originally planned out in the beginning, because sometimes a creative spark just hits you in the middle of nowhere and it can be so distracting!
I’m still here. I will always be here. I like all the ideas, my favorites are the off cut pages. Thank you so much for all the fun at this video. I’m ill but this made me feel better. Have a great week ❤
Thank you so much for watching till the end!!
I always watch your videos till the end! You are a first class professional of art making and as a bonus you are such a fun person, never have I watched a boring video from you❣ 😊@@TreasureBooks
Still here. Love all of your videos! Can't get enough of all the things I'm learning!
You are truly fabulous! So creative & a great teacher. You don't skip over anything and I really appreciate the time you put into your channel. THANK YOU!
I'm still here. You have so much talent to share with others.
Thank you so much!!
I’m still here😂. Always watch to the end. Loved the writing! Always come away with a new to me idea or two or more…😉Loved the spontaneity and fun of today’s video😉. Fun to catch a glimpse of a different side of you…every video you share is creative and inspiring, thank you. The journal cover with the beads and buttons is lovely! Really like the notepaper on the book pages and the yarn fed through the foot …WHAT?!?! oh my goodness, who knew!?! LOVE that! I will definitely be trying that! I have a lot of book pages also and appreciate all the fun ideas you shared. Thanks again! ❤
No apologies/explanations needed. I got so many good ideas from this video. Thank you for always sharing your creative ideas. ❤
Yes , still here !! Thank you so much for being such an inspiration , you always light my creative fire ! You’re such a lovely genuine lady , it’s like visiting a friend spending time watching you ! Look out book pages ….here I come 😂!
hehe Thank you so much :)
Natasha, I feel very inspired just watching/ listening. I am still here! 💕
Yaaay you made it all the way to the end! Thank you
Your wrap around strips really resonated with me! But, I LOVE your happy accident.
Loved all of the ideas. My stash of … EVERYTHING …. Needs a place to go and book pages are everywhere. When I have too much, I don’t feel creative because I start to feel like I need to use it up before I get anything else. That mindset squashes my creativity. So having videos like this is super helpful to get the creativity flowing again with my overflow of supplies. Even if I don’t feel creative, this video offer super practical ways to use up overflowing stash and turn it into something useful to embellish other projects.
I have been watching Treasure books for about 4 months. You are so brilliant. You inspire me with your journal making. I have learned so much about making journal. You absolutely make my day. Thank you so very much.
Thank you so much!
Sweetie I think you're one of the most creative people I have ever seen you don't always tell people to run out and buy this and that you just look around the house and God gives you incredible innovative fun ways to do interesting things you're crafting is amazing you're amazing and out of all the videos I watch not only do you present it well you present fabulous interesting fun art and we're so glad that you have an opportunity in this world to show the creativity that it's put inside of you! Your presentation is clear crisp and quick it holds my interest and I think these pages are the cats meow! I guess that kind of shows you I'm a retiree in Florida but you go girl!❤
Hi Natasha! I’m still here!! I really enjoyed going on this journey with you. You shared your muse beautifully and have given me many more ideas for scraps and book pages. I never thought about doing such amazing work with book pages. My favorite today was the one with the buttons and lace. Thank you for sharing your passion for Treasure Books. ❤️
I'm still here - can't stop watching halfway through, I just might miss a good tip somewhere 😍
Yes! I feel a bit like, “Whaaaat?”
It may seem so simple to you, but for those of us who don’t think so out-of-the-box, are quite inspired by your simple techniques…I’m always wanting to do things like this with book pages, only I don’t think of thinks like this🤨
Thank you for sharing this with us!!!
I watched to the end.😊
It's like the credits at the end of a movie. You never know what bonus you might see or hear. You have to stay to the end.
Thank you so much!!
In response to your rant at the end of your video,I think that you dont give yourself enough credit. You are so creative! I'm 45 and have been crafting for a lot of years, and you are my go to on CZcams..Please keep the videos coming!
Thank you so much :)
I'm still here! Yes, these are simple ideas but honestly ones that I wouldn't have come up with on my own. Especially inspired by the coffee dyed strips. So basic but so effective. A 'wish I'd thought of that' moment. 🌻
I appreciate you sharing your muses...so-called mistakes....demons and moods as you go along!
Your videos keep me sane!🙄
I AM STILL HERE because of them!❤👍BFE 🤣
The book cover was a BONUS to a great video 🙂
I'm still here...😊BTW love all your ideas ❤
I’m still here. lol. My honest opinion is that every one of your videos that I’ve watched is EPIC. You are so creative and you have so many ideas for mundane stuff that turns into interesting stuff. Thank you for NOT asking us to like and subscribe at the end of every video; I’m very tired of hearing that refrain because I think we all know what to do if we like a video or a creator. You are also entertaining in a self deprecating way but I disagree with you when you say, “This is so ordinary.” No, dear, you always add that extra touch that makes it look extraordinary. Keep doing what you’re doing. Of course you wrote a humongous book! I’ll go check it out. Thanks for making these videos. It’s so worth spending time with you.
Just last night I was thinking of how I could make writing space on music pages in a journal I working on. And here are some great examples. I’m still here. ❤
I’m still here 📚❤
Your mind is so creative and it just flows out of you. I wish it came from me that way. Will you ever show us your studio? You seem to be very organized.
I’m still here, in particular, cutting off the button back and that whole page, and so much more
„When the Muse calls, you must answer“ …what a wonderful phrase ❤
Still here and watched the whole video! Sometimes our Muse and Demons battle each other. Lol. I’m new to journaling and I’m not naturally creative so all of these ideas are very helpful. Love the black paint and sewing on the yarn.
As a stroke survivor, I do asemic writing all the time! Of course, it's very hard to decipher when I've done it for a grocery list so my daughter and I are left scratching our heads in the supermarket aisles. Anywho, now I have a fancy-pants word for my handwriting style - LOL! (I will ALWAYS still be here.)
The white handwriting on black is stunning!!! You are so talented!!!
I'm still here! Thanks for the video. I'm working on a project I DON'T want to have to do and had this video going while I worked. It made me smile! I really like the idea of folding scraps of paper around to the other side of a book page.
Love the yellow colored book page with the doodling....great idea 💡 💛 👍😁
Thanks for sharing, because I never know what to do with a bookpage in a journal, except covering it. ❤
Yes i'm still here lol xx - i will say that they are all wonderful ideas but my most favorite is the paper on paper - what i like to tell others is That You Plant a Seed of Inspiration and then our Muse will take over and we get to create our own style - i enjoyed this - and i like when you show us options on how to use your techniques - thank you Natasa 🤗🤗
You’re writing iS so beautiful don’t doubt yourself
I'm very much still here! Thank you Natasa, for hanging in there. Hugs and Blessings from Cypress, Texas!
