The width, the big grill, the long hood, big hips in the rear, and last but not least the curvaceous roof line. I think the wing completes the look, whereas on others it would distract from the body lines. I found automotive art when I drive to work, now I can't help but stare every time I spot them. This is an all time beauty!
I remember watching this video two years ago as i started my GTR search and now I have my AMG GTR in Green Magno in my garage. So many of these cars are beat up and it took me two years to find one to my liking with the options and low miles, the car is simply incredible!
I am also in the market right now looking at the 2020 near me they have one almost finalized the deal. However final price is still coming to 160k. 7k miles. How is it still expensive or are they screwing me? Any insight?
Its great, biggest issue I have is owning a c63. Sure its on another lvl but I would go for a R8 or Porsche to have a truly different experience. I guess thats the downside of using 1 high performance engine for the whole lineup.
I'll go for the green magno paint , let the beast live up to its name . The design of the car is pretty loud and it sounds loud too . Might as well have a loud colour to put on top .
What a great review. As the owner of a Solarbeam Yellow GTR with every option box ticked, the only thing I don’t like is the depreciation. It has been brutal!
The tech you can opt out of, will not change anything in terms of how "safe" it is for the future. It will not really make the car lighter either, just more annoying to use. Why not get Apple Car play for example? It's an amazing grand tourer.
One thing about the safety pack, it seems it will activate on the track even if you have it off, like increasing braking if it sense you are closing to fast to another car lol

Especially with the yellow AMG embroidary on the bucket seat. Find me one of those and I'll be right there!

Even Porsche cup cars use steel rotors.

When you said hyacinth red you actually showed a picture of jupiter red AMG GTR haha, anyways hyacinth red is imo the best paint, pity its such a rare thing on amg gt's in general.

When the brakes are warm the stopping power is almost the same. But under extreme conditions and for track days the performance of ceramics remains constant whereas steel brakes start to fade after a few hard brakings. Ceramic discs also last longer and produce less dust. But the downside, besides the high initial price, is the lack of feel when they are cold. For daily use I would take the normal steel brakes and save 5000 quid.
I have them on my SL63 R231 - code B07. I can promise you they are much much better than the steel ones, at any given temperature. The stopping power is immense, I am constantly looking in my rearview mirror, afraid to be rear-ended, because no one else on the road can stop as quick as me.

I didn't like the silver band on the upgraded rims breaks the line too much for me. I got the ceramic brakes and very glad I did- I wish the silver was a bit darker. The carbon roof believe it or not to me makes a big difference lowers the center of gravity. Definitely go with the more road friendly seats. No one wants to deal with the harnesses.
Sure wish I could've fit in one of these, but I had to eliminate this and an R8 from my purchase list. Happy with my new car, but still wish I had more options.

You’d be surprised how different it is, I’ve driven both.
The whole experience, I think a big part of it is the different transmission with 7 speeds, can enjoy the speed way more

The v8 used in the gtr is totally different than the c63. Different components and size . Weighs alot less too.

The only car I’d get over this one at that price point is the r8 v10. Feel like the value might go up due to Audi stopping production
