I just took a third attempt at Carnivore, I had to stop, again. After a few weeks, my heart starts palpitating and I feel like I’m going to die, no matter how much salt, water, and electrolytes I take. I always start with the highest hopes because like you said, when you feel like crap all the time you’ll do anything to feel better. I went back to keto/ low carb and feel so much better. I wish it could work for me.
Thanks for sharing. It's definitely a scary feeling. I'm on my third attempt now🤞I've heard and seen so many great results in others, and I'm really hoping that I can stick with it this time. So far, I haven't had any issues. I have been low oxalate for quite a while now, so I think that helps. I hope that you find a solution!
@@Sarahlepsy good luck to you! I hope it helps you! I wanted to heal some chronic nerve pain so I could get off of medication but I never make it to 90 days to find out if it actually helps.
Have you researched anything concerning internal parasites and urticaria. Parasites are more common in the USA than once thought. I have some hives and spoke to a naturopath who felt I had a parasite (currently being tested for that).
@donm1025 Yes, definitely. It's unfortunate that so many people think that it's not a possibility because of where they live. Many people who have been treated for parasites have experienced improvement or remission of their hives.
@@Sarahlepsy did your autoimmune symptoms improve at all? Going zero carb carnivore isnt sustainable long term. i would at least 20g of carbs a day from berries, milk if you can tolerate, or try to find an amount that suits you.
@BO2trickshoting I only had a short period where I was feeling pretty good, but I was losing way too much weight. I did add greek yogurt towards the end of my experiment to try to get some weight back on, but it didn't really help much. I ended up with low iron, lost too much weight, and felt pretty crappy by the end of the 90 days. I really wanted it to work, but I feel like things went downhill pretty quickly.
@@Sarahlepsy I had similar case where I started losing too much weight by trying animal based diet...when I started doing IF 16 to 18 hours fast and adding lot of nice fresh fruits and fresh juices and some rice and lentils now I am back to my normal weight...
Carnivore is not a weight loss diet, it's a weight optimization diet - just that so many people are overweight that it gets advertised as weight loss so that more people see it. I like this one the most czcams.com/video/gs7g0TUAfdk/video.html

@@jentrevino3919 thank you 😊 I hope you find something that helps you 🤞
It's a miaerable diet. By going back to keto, you still maintain ketosis.

Yes, I have. You are right. It's much more common than most people would think. I hope that you feel better after treatment 🤞
@@Sarahlepsy So in your experience, you haven't seen parasites as a major contributing factor

@@Sarahlepsyyou eat raw, organic meat?
How many grams of fat/protein/carbs were you eating per day? just curious
I didn't track macros. I was eating a lot of eggs, butter, and chuck roast, so l was getting a good amount of fat and protein
