Thanks for sharing. That's the key thing you asked Him with submission and surrender and sincerity. I remember (I wasn't practicing person in high school but I knew God existed - long time ago). So I asked God to make me pass this science test and it was a test if you passed you get into set 1 in next years class which I really wanted, what happened I failed that test. However the science teacher asked me to re-do the test a few days later after class by myself with no help from her or anyone... funny thing the normal test was done in class and my friends were helping each other. I retook the test and passed with flying colours and the science teacher was really pleased because I understood the science test as it should of been understood. I learnt that God was teaching me patience and its a process (meta physical world) in reality He was showing how things get done and I actually learnt a lot from that re-test properly about the science test itself. The test I failed in I was just doing it just to get to set 1 only NOT learning what that science test was about i.e actual doing the test to learn something, i.e. actual learning and knowledge of the science test experiment. I find that God shows things in a reality way it's not going to fall in your lap but you have to put in work and the He will assist and help! Tahajjud doesn't disappoint! You need faith, Yaqeen and patience. You are talking and worshipping Him when he is the closet to us on Earth when He defends in a manner that befits His Majesty.

Thahjjud changed life too in my experience i feel more healthy and seasonal flu are also very less if i got one of diseases it cure faster .. when i did thahjjud i got so many blessings from allah alhamdhulihllah.. doing night prayer is most peaceful.. my heart feel so happy praying thahahjjud and feel so ease on body feel like lifting weights of sin .. before i start thahjjud i saw scairy dream most of the time ( one of those dream is angel of death were shown up and saying to me go and pray) that was the dream that changed my life . After i start thahjjud i saw beautiful dreams also ... If you want change your life please start thahjjud.. may Allah make us those who pray thahjjud... Aameen.

I can resonate to this very much! I had been in the same exact situation. I felt so frustrated and disgruntled because the gap point was too close to accomplish my target. Nonetheless, I miss the target and regardless still striving for it coz I strongly believe in this saying : " If it wasn't meant for you, it won't reach you even the distance is between two lips. But if it's meant for you, it'll reach you even the distance is between two mountains." Thus, it'll come by the right time at a perfect moment. We just have to be patient and strive our very best and never lose hope in HIS mercy. Waleykum Salam, may Allah make your journey easy for you. Tahajjud is prayed in the night once you’ve gone to sleep, then you wake up and pray 2 Rakats or more it’s up to you. But you can also pray it a few minutes before fajr prayer
That Haddith about Allah's forgiveness to someone who killed a 100 people, is inconsistent with the Quranic standard of justice and forgiveness criteria, so any Haddith which does not comply with or conform to Quranic standards must be rejected. Because any act which erodes/corrupts the justice system and brings down people's general moral standards can never be allowed to flourish. Killing a 100 people leaves a lot of serious consequences on the victims, who will have become widows and orphaned children; which will have a devastating effect not only on those family's lives but be a strain on society as a whole. The Quran says that killing a single life is like killing the whole world and saving a single life is like saving the whole world. That is the standard that must be followed.
Everyone is a freaking scholar now! If u wanna question one Hadith then u have to question ALL of them! The Book of Allah is complete even without Hadiths, the Quran stands alone!
