This is my most favorite appliance in my kitchen, I've had one for years and literally cried when my husband accidentally broke it. But he surprised me with a replacement a month later! 20/10 I love and use like twice a day
I'm glad he surprised you with a replacement! They really are among the best kettles I've used.
Beautiful review! Just went and got mine, and I absolutely love it! Look forward to your future videos
That's awesome! It's such a great device. I really haven't found a tea maker that works as well as the Breville.
My FAVORITE device!!!! both mom and I have had it as long as you and it's working well
They're the best! I day I won mine was the first time we met in person 😊
Great demo! I've had my Breville for several years and will pull it out again after seeing this.
Thanks! They really are sturdy kettles. I've had mine for nearly 10 years.
Good video and I might have to get my self this. I find it would allow to brew more tea for the same amount than what I currently get and get the perfect flavor
It's a great machine! Though, you'd still need 1-2 teaspoons of tea for every cup of water you are using.
Thanks for the informative video. I have been thinking about purchasing this version but was concerned that it would be too large since I typically only make 2 cups of tea max. Looks like it will work perfectly for my purposes.
I'm so glad that it was helpful! 😊
I truly want one of these. Love your t-shirt. Enjoying your book.
I highly recommend them. Thank you!
I have this tea maker, and would love to see a step by step of actual tea making.
Thanks!
Welcome!
My favorite tea accessory! It changed my (tea) life 😄
Same! I was using my mom's old stovetop kettle before. 😂
@@teaformeplease side note, I love the shirt you’re wearing! Tea ware + camouflage = win!
Thanks! I got it from Macha Tea in Wisconsin.
About to try it now 😉
Nice! Let me know how you like it.
followed your instructions on making green tea and it turned out great. I had to brew it twice, but I think that's because I didn't add enough tea. I probably need to read the instructions for proper measuring amounts @@teaformeplease
A good rule of thumb is one to two teaspoons for every cup of water 👍
Of course…thanks 🙏🏻
mehhh, if you unplug it, the clock resets, so I had to manually set it every day.
Also, the preset for tea types can't be customized, meaning I had to change it every morning. (since my oolong tea requires 8 min brew time)
Plus, the maximum auto brew time is just 10 minutes, so no strong herb tea for me. I was pretty disappointed.
The clock on most electronics reset when you unplug them 🤷
I'm just wondering why it's 300 dollars lol. My 10 dollar French press and 40 dollar gooseneck kettle probably does the same job. And I use my kettle for pour over coffee as well.
It's not just a kettle. It also brews the tea for you and keeps it warm. Not everyone needs those functions so a basic kettle may be a better option if that's the case.
@@teaformeplease I get that. I still don't understand why it's 300 dollars. I suppose the breville name charges a premium.
just got this for christmas
Nice! It's such a solid kettle.
I love your shirt!!!!
Thank you! I have too many tea shirts. 🤣
But the machine mostly works like the basket works go up and down but after a while shows Re set .Do u know the reset keys??
I do not. I would definitelty recommend contacting the manufacturer just in case they are able to help.
Hello I have this kettle but unfortunatelly I wash the up side and after that it shows re set on its screen .Do u know how to reset the kettle??????
Unfortunately it sounds like water got into the electronic components. It will most likely need to be replaced.
1200ml = 40.58oz (about 5 cups)
Hi, do you know if it's possible to heat milk normally in this machine?
You could, but the warranty would be voided
@@teaformeplease Thank you for your reply! Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
Could we get a review on the Corvo ekg? no body has that one done on youtube!
I could have sworn I made a video about that, but apparently not. I'll have to film one soon. 🤣
I'm confused by the market for this. If you like tea but aren't very invested in the hobby aspect, you're probably just drinking tea bags or infused mugs. And if you are big into tea as a hobby, wouldn't you want complete control over your tea brewing.
This just seems too impractical and expensive for a novice, but it takes away too much control from the enthusiast.
There's a big section of people who do loose leaf but are more casual about their consumption. These flew off the shelves when I worked at Teavana. I think the target demographics are similar.
It looks great but it's expensive
Yes, they are pricey. The good news is that they've been around long enough that they can be found second hand pretty easily
Sounds like this was made at the height of the spring allergy season :(
I have year round allergies so unfortunately I kind of always sound like that 🤣
I think you sound great 👍. Thanks for the video. I’ve been looking for something like this for my garden office while my puppy sleeps in the house.
Thank you! That sounds perfect. 🐶❤️
Im sorry but theres no way im paying $299 for a tea maker.
There are many ways to make tea, thankfully in all different price ranges. Some people will pay for convenience.
Mines I was 30dol a breville of Walmart or Amazon nice.
