How certain were you that this is meant to hold water? I think you would have been better off getting the turtle tank kit, if you were going to get a kit.
EDIT: Also, turtles don't climb, so putting the cork bark on the sides is kind of strange.... Unless you were going to repurpose this later for an animal that will use this space.

I am certain because I did a water test you can see in the video. I also looked at the silicone lining the glass which is the same as a normal aquarium. The cork is just for decor to make the background look natural.
