I am so in love with this habitat. Such a creative design that would be excellent for a lot of different animals. Quite daring to use it for the smallest habitat animal in the game, but it is a complete success! And it creates such a good flow for the guests with so many good viewing points.

Tip from me: Put the enrichment items, heaters or coolers, feeders or places to drink in a good view for guests like in the middle of the exhibit, that way the animals would be more interested there and the people wouldn't miss the animals and leave your exhibit... Works with my cassowarys!

Absolutely love this one, I was a little skeptical of the tunnels in the beginning but with all the rocks and the plants it gives of big canyon vibes and I'm totally here for that. Really well and beautifully done, both from a viewer's and the animals' perspective. I have just one question: Since you place a ton of plants in basically all of your habitats, I was wondering if the animals mind that? And if so, do you just ignore that because it doesn't matter? Whenever I place too many the animals don't seem to like that and still, the habitats still look super empty.

Seeing this built has given me ideas for habitat but, i dont know why made me think about how nice it would be to have croc monitors in planet zoo. How fun would an arboreal reptile be? We already have three semi aquatic reptiles and one large terrestrial monitor so to spice things up why not one that likes to climb and there is no idonesia pack yet.

i dont know if you know it but if you click on the animal and then go to the page where you can see how much terrain, water etc. they have you can also see how much terrain is available for the animal

on the section where you had to make a place for the people to continue to walk so its not a one way walk you should add aardvarks or warthogs as they fit a similar bio me and the size of the enclosure is good for them as well (after you finish doing the Africa pack ofc)

The thing with the max of 10 (6 fem/6 male) is the max amount of males/females you can have :)
This habitat is really cool looking but seeing a Fennec Fox in a tropical Zoo is like seeing a Polar Bear in a Desert Zoo or a Cheetah in a Tundra Zoo, Still cool though!
Well, the arctics are some of the biggest deserts. So technically that would fit. Also, tropical and desert is not that far off. An oasis in a desert can easily be qualified as tropical.

@@andresparra114 I’m just saying that Fennec Foxes in a tropical zoo isn’t a reach at all. The difference between tropical landscapes and desert landscapes is how much rain falls. That’s about it. Usually, they are right next to eachother.

I hope you don't mind but I just wanted to help with one of the word pronunciations. For aloe vera plants the e on the first word isn't pronounced. So it's like al-oh vera if that makes sense? Also with the fennec fox group size I think it means that you can have 10 individuals of either sex but up to only 6 males or 6 females. You can't have 7 females 3 males if that makes sense too?

I've been playing planet zoo for literally 2 days now, and.. You can use something else than habitat fences as fences? Can someone explain this to me because I had no idea? How does it work?
How do the animals not escape? I connected 2 habitats with water, with fences in the water so they couldn't cross and they still escaped. I can't imagine how this in the video even workes ;')
It looks so amazing though, I've been binging your videos to get inspirations and learn the limits of the game!

Please do note tho, if you have a fence (NOT a null fence) in the water and your animals swim through which just look odd and doesn't make any sense, this is probably a bug and not you to blame ☺ Especially when having 2 habitats connected right next to each other with water, this seems to happen.. :(
Hey, quick question: I follow your videos since you had just 45k subs… and just now realize: when you, or Rudi build inhabits, do you switch off all animals needs and reaction? Reaction to soil type, plants?

Hoihoi, als je stenen wilt gebruiken dan kun je juist het beste the null fence or zero barrier gebruiken, want anders steken je gewone hekken door de stenen heen ☺ Een null fence is puur en alleen om het spel aan te geven waar de omheining is. Je moet er zelf voor zorgen dat je eigen gemaakte fences van onderdelen of van stenen hoog genoeg zijn dat de dieren niet ontsnappen van je verblijf ☺

So the reason for sticking to what comes in a region is mostly due to invasive species. Invasive species aren't always just animals/insects, many of them are plants too! For example, Spanish moss in the southern united states is invasive. So is the grass used in most neighborhoods- that short grass used in lawns doesn't belong here. Invasive species can cause severe damage to the non-living aspects of our environment too. Loss of natural grasses, like prairie grasses in southern Texas, can result in a sharp increase in flooding, making events like hurricanes much worse. Prairie grasses have roots nearly 18 feet long. They can take in a LOT of water. Meanwhile those lawn grasses have roots that are barely half a foot, so they can't take much water on. It's important not to introduce new sources to an environment that's never had them naturally before, as it can affect the region for hundreds of years! Like on Australia, during the colonial period the British brought in rabbits for hunting. Those rabbits have breed past what the environment could handle, and they destroyed food sources for natural speices.

You can download that in the workshop ☺ search for "Faux" and then you get the rockset with all the colors of the natural rock colors made with the faux rocks ☺ Very useful for any zoo ☺
Don’t get me wrong, this is absolutely amazing but aren’t the Fennec Fox’s shy and so they will just be stressed out trying to hide the whole time with this many open spots for people to see them?
You can even have a walkin habitat for them ☺ so I guess they are completely fine ☺
