@@sorrowinchrist3387 i kinda assumed there would be something as a heatmap.. as in the first free update post they mentioned something like "pay attention when reorganizing your habitat, as the sniffing spots will be removed" so I kinda thought there would be something to make these points visable 😅
@@DeLadysigner I really hope so thanks for replying. I also hope it does not get removed but updated over time like temp heat map. Just show concentration of area and players have decided what to do about it. And how will the sniffing work? If they sniff for a flower does it mean you need to add more???? Or could it be just that they like that one plant and no more? As too many plant could chock them. :) So i hope it get this detail. I like the cute horses too only if you can ride them now. :)
PS: I unfortunatly forgot the record about the new Animal Chorus :( Some animals, including the new Siamangs coming in the Conservation Pack, are known to perform group "calling" as a social activity. This new behaviour comes to Planet Zoo as the Arctic and Timber Wolves, alongside the new Siamang, will be able to perform Chorus Calls with each other - even while wading or climbing! There will be a range of calls available which the Chorus Leader (the animal who starts the Chorus) will randomly select one from, and will continue until all animals in the Chorus have joined in. After this, they will either randomly select a new call to continue the Chorus or will end the Behaviour.
As always love the new additions. I'm most looking forward to the surface alignment option. This will be great for making "Piers" in a habitat with water or even decorative spots around the zoo or maybe even creating a new way of doing a viewpoint! Also looking forward to the shop tables. I really wish they'd give you all the decorations within the shops and staff buildings as actual props you can use and place independently.
Caught one of the horses sniffing a new foal and doing a flehmen response (lip curl), lots of animals do that so hopefully some other species got it too!
The height thing for the kids is so cute, when I was young they had the same kind of thing at Ouwehands and I would check every time we were there if I was as big as the gorillas
Aligning works where it aligns the XYZ axis to the surface. The XYZ axis of the effects is at the bottom of the effect rather than where the effect comes from, so the effect will always look like its floating when it's not.
Haven't played Panet Zoo for a very long time but watching your video makes me to try it maybe somewhere in the future again. :) Too much new things I guess though to see them all :P
If align to water means align to the actual water, not aligning it to every plant, that could be useful. I really don't like how align to surface makes things align to various plants and trees. I just want it to align properly to the ground, man :P
I really wish they'd just completely re-work the water effects. I hate those black nodes. It should just be an overlay/mode with really obvious direction arrows and static previews so you don't have to press play to see what you're doing. The "water mode" should lock off all editing of other components and be the only time you can see the large water arrows/static previews indicating direction.

If you dont want them to be on an angle, you need to turn off align to surface before selecting the lilypads 😊 then they will always be straight and you can moce the up and down with the shift button or 3d gizmo entering when pressing x 😊
The gibbons movement on the climbing frames is AMAZING. I just wish they make the climbing frames look more natural like branches and ropes, as they look a bit ugly to me.
Honestly, try watching some tutorials to learn the controls, see what options are available, and try to get used to the system 😊 its really not that bad once you get a hang on it and know what you can and cant do 👍

Steam mostly updates automatically unless you have turned this off 😊 then you need to update via Steam manually of which I have no idea how you do that, as my steam always updates it all automatically 😄
The group photos is quite of a useless thing no-one asked for the game? It would have a stronger impact of they have added animal shaped photo panels that guests could use to take photo portraits. Lack of vision to push this game forward is quite frustrating.
Pffff "Lack of vision to push this game forward is quite frustrating" seriously just go and play a different game if you cant see how much amazing work, love, passion, and effort the devs put in this game and how much they listen to a lot of things the community is asking for :) You don't have to like everything they do, but saying that is just BS :)
@@DeLadysigner What I said does not erase the great things they did. They do a lot of good things. If they could be more ambitious, yes they could. I do not praise Frontier like if they were gods. Actually its all the criticism that they receive that makes them do better. Praising them blindly will not bring anything by the end of the day. And yes I point out the things I believe are wrong in this game because I love to play it a lot. And I was expecting better language than "BS" from one of my favourite youtubers.
There really is a difference between sharing critique to help devs to make a game better and just telling them they have a lack of vision to push the game foward! Its very disrespectful imo to all the people that work incredibly hard on planet zoo with a lot of love and passion 👍

I would use the "align to water" option, for placing lilypads and other floating waterplants :)

It turns out that the horses can play with the keyboard and they have this really cute animations with their lip, hahaha!
