Its an unforgettable finish to a thrilling hunt as Chris Dorsey and guide Bob May use a predator call to bring in a 10+ foot brown bear on Kodiak Island.
I've hunted Africa 5 times, taken 3 Cape buffalo, numerous plains game, and been charged by elephants twice. THAT is the most frightening hunt I've ever seen!👍👍
Good lord, I did NOT expect that!!!! He damn near ran y'all over!!! Holy moly, kind of a crazy spot to predator call from it seemed. Could've went south real quick!! Awesome hunt
I would never wander into an alder thicket, without a round in the chamber, If you can't trust the fail safes on your rifle, then you should likely just stay at home. I understand there is a human element involved, but if you need to chamber a round in a hurry, there are far more things that can f%$k up, than there is just releasing a safety.
The genius guide removes the round from the chamber and then gets charged by a bear and injured pretty bad before the client shoots the bear. You have to be incredibly stupid to unchamber a round while walking through brush in bear country. Unbelievable.
Is this correct, you have to have a guild to go on one of these hunts and for safety, the guilds won't let you have a round chambered? There is only one explanation for something this idiotic, it's a government mandate for the guilds. If you haven't learned how to safely carry a gun that's chambered with the safety on through any type of terrain, go back to hunting with your BB gun!
I could watch bear hunting all day long, but hunting videos with music drives me crazy lol

I:m so happy another bear wasn't behind you previously unseen. I'm not sure how good an idea this was.
Love bear stories!
Dang! That was intense!!!! Awesome video!
Indeed it was intense!

no argument here
Like they say about the Cape buffalo, that bear looked at you like you owe him money. Congratulations. Very exciting hunt.
That could've gotten ugly real fast that bear was damn near on top of them
Wow scary. Nice video thanks!
That is just flat cool.
The guys that do this have some brass balls, that's for sure
Hell yeah they do. More than I do 😂 It's wild and I'd probably need a change of pants. 🤭
I'll be there in October. 🐻 😊
good luck...amazing place!
wow ,that wasgreat, congrats
thx!
What caliber were you shooting. Awesome job
.375 H&H
If I pay all of that money, and the guide shoots my bear when it's not a threatening situation, I'm pissed.
Fuck that bear took 4 shots fairly close range from some pretty stout cartridges i'd take the extra help
@@stanleysanders9099 Kinda what makes bow hunting bears exciting
@shoot4fun302 glad I don't have the money to attempt this
@@stanleysanders9099 Haha, wish I did.
@@shoot4fun302 lol maybe i would but i'm going with no less than a 416 rem mag on a controlled round feed action only
