Thanks so much 😊 Troll comments are weird fact of life for anyone who does anything online 🙄 I look at them like they are simply an unpleasant side effect of being awesome 😆
Thank you so much! 💗 I genuinely believe that if I can have successfully refashioned and upcycled hundreds of items (& shared the step by step tutorials) then absolutely anyone can transform their own wardrobes on a budget too!
❤❤❤ great video!!! I've got tons of fabric that I don't know what to do with. Now I can make shorts. I binge watched a bunch of your past videos looking for "downsizing " instructions. I found one, but would appreciate more. The thrift store I go to is run by a bunch of sweet older ladies. But, they put men's clothes in with the ladies. I often accidentally get an item I thought was my size, but is too large. Most of the CZcamsrs that I follow get terrible/weird comments!!! I think that they must be bots, because I can't imagine real people would be that rude. In any case, I do love troll time. Hilarious!!!!
Thanks for your fantastic comment! 😊 I have a big chest & nothing ever fits me comfortably, so I do A LOT of upsizing tutorials, that playlist is loaded 🤣 but I do also have a downsizing playlist here, enjoy! ♻️🧵 czcams.com/play/PL7dZmqeknPlgTI57EeB_3V7nUUKf0U3YS.html&si=YT3jeCgSXD68PU-K
I think people put others down so they can feel superior. but that is sad. Why do they need that.......cause they don't feel happy in their own skin . I love your videos and your story 😀❤
Thanks for your groovy comment 😊 you're absolutely correct! Trolls are ridiculous & pretty darn pitiful BUT they do make for some fun & educational content 😁 I've shared all of my Troll Time episodes here: czcams.com/play/PL7dZmqeknPliEuNB9gxgOVmXhPoMKxzMD.html&si=VbnB7vo8661tRxOr
Both outfits are so cute! The yellow one has such a happy summer sunshine vibe. The pink embroidered one is gorgeous. I absolutely love the bag. Refurbish with nail polish. Doh! It looks brand new! I enjoyed how Citrus went through several pronunciations of the troll name. I laughed out loud. 😅The troll is obviously a washed up failure who feels better by trashing others. And if you’re a weirdo, then I am too. 😊
What’s cool about your channel is you DO show great tutorials that don’t require expensive equipment beyond a sewing machine (which you can get a second hand one dirt cheap) or advanced skills, so it gives folks the confidence to upcycle, save money and make things properly fit. Even if there are fabrics and styles that aren’t to a person’s tastes, the techniques can STILL be used and adapted to a person’s fashion taste. All due respect to Noahe - Citrus is right. If you’re such an amazing designer with off-the-chain skills, how about starting your own channel? Or, are you sad that you didn’t become the next Diane von Furstenberg or Vera Wang, so you take out your frustrations on refashion content creators?
You hit the nail on head exactly! I have zero want, need or intention to be seen as an "authority" on fashion and sewing 🙄 I'm simply sharing what I've taught myself to show people just how easy it is, all you need is a bit of refashionista imagination! 😊
If the bottom hem is generous, you can simply let it down, or you can easily add more length by adding some lace or a band of fabric around the bottom hems. 😊 Here's how I made shorts into long pants: awesomesauceasshattery.com/2015/11/04/my-easy-refashioned-overalls-tutorial/
I would like to try this! How many sizes do you go up in dresses to make the shorts set? I'm already a size 16 so what do I look for? I would like to start refashions for mid size to plus size people.
It's more about the amount of fabric and length of the dress than the actual tag size. The pink dress was my "regular" size (M) and fit fine as a dress which I think is probably why I had to use that extra fabric to upsize the shorts after they were stitched. That said, had I added the extra fabric from the start of making the shorts I wouldn't have needed to upsize at all. If the dress is long enough there should be more than enough to create shorts, you'll just have to add any excess length to the "shorts tubes" before making them. 😊
Very nicely done! 💙💜🩷💚❤️♥️💕💗🙋♀️🙋♀️. I can’t believe the negative comments! WTF. Glad you don’t let them get you down, you are great! 🥰🥰🥰

These are so cute. Perfect for the spring and summer seasons. Haters will hate. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
😁 everything you wrote is 100% correct 🤩
I love your channel, your design and easy to understand ideas. I adore the fabrics and the wearable vintage styles

I’m obsessing with both of those!! Now, if you’ll excuse me…. I have a couple of dresses to chop up!!
Thanks! 😊 they both came out so much better than I had envisioned ♻️
Good for you to keep going with your fun and interesting ideas!
Always more to come! I wish I could shut off my brain but it never stops 🧠🤣

@RefashionistaSheri ok. Thank you very much!🥰
I'm a UK size 16, and I need a size 22 to make trousers from a skirt, without adding side panels. Hope that helps!

Those trolls are really bored to death
🤣 Really and truly! The "complaints" are getting weirder and weirder 🤪
