Falling to their deaths is the best way to kill a villain. You get to hear their fear on the way down.

It’s the best when they fall into the void or on a spike because they can’t come back in the sequel

@@michaeljohn1978 It was a practical effect, he was wearing giant long hands because they'd envisioned a shot where he'd fall away from the camera and the perspective would make it work but they really half assed it and now we have the glorious end result.

Yeah, you have to suspend your disbelief extra hard for that particular scene...such a fall *should* have killed him instantly.

@@knightofarkronia9968 Sure, but they never show the impact in those movies. I think the stark finality of having Trevelyan die from such a graphic impact would have made it much darker, whereas having him survive for the “Oh shit!” moment had a Bond-esque comedic flair😂

The first one from golden eye is actually quite brutal, he survives the fall but then gets crushed

Gaston in the original Beauty & the Beast had the most harrowing scream I've ever heard. It sounded so real for an animated movie.

From when I was younger I always remember Antz, one of the few times an animated villain falls and you see the impact.
Max Zorin at the end of View To A Kill, even the way he laughs in disbelief as it's about to happen is funny

Interesting how many of these there are. As a writer, I surmise it's done to maintain the integrity of the protagonists. It's visual storytelling when the protagonist is comfortable overtly killing their enemy. Not bad by any means, but it makes the audience less likely to view them as good people afterwards.
Formulaic. Like pointing a gun really close to the protagonist's head and talking. Overdone.
I always see accidental falls (and villains being eaten by animals/monsters) as Acts of God - the protagonist is too pure to kill them so there’s a divine intervention
The man got killed by golden gate bridge in 1:01 and he died
That was the perfect way to wack Saruman, traitor died a traitor's death.

im guessing that the creator of the puppet accidentally made several mistakes and ended up making his arm that long.

When Pericles transformed into the Evil Entity, he tried to convince Sid and Lincoln, who changed into Acr Savvy and Miracle Girl to help him finish his episode, but to no avail. Miracle Girl cuts his tentacle, leaving the Evil Entity to fall to the black hole to his death. As the black hole explodes, he is never to be seen again.
The Devestator (Rainbow Rita)
The Devestator is the episode's main antagonist and a guest star who is voiced by WWE Superstar, Roman Reigns. In the episode of the same name, he changes into his beast mode and makes his attempt to kill Ristar. But when Rainbow Rita and Midnight Dreamstar shine a light at him by using their aura, The Devestator stumbles and falls to his death.
Clockwork (Newgirl)
Clockwork is the main antagonist of the 5th episode, The Summer Mix Up. Clockwork was sent out by Cyber Terror to take out Newgirl's mother. When Newgirl and special guest star Kirby rescued her mother and cat Tuna, Clockwork throws a fit and he is poked in the face by Newgirl and falls to his death shouting "My face!".
