Interesting how many of these there are. As a writer, I surmise it's done to maintain the integrity of the protagonists. It's visual storytelling when the protagonist is comfortable overtly killing their enemy. Not bad by any means, but it makes the audience less likely to view them as good people afterwards.
I always see accidental falls (and villains being eaten by animals/monsters) as Acts of God - the protagonist is too pure to kill them so there’s a divine intervention
pro editing ain’t a thing back then, so they used puppets to make jones falling im guessing that the creator of the puppet accidentally made several mistakes and ended up making his arm that long.
Man, all these great falling deaths and the Robocop one just couldn't have been done right? Those flailing giant arms. It was just so disappointing for such a great villain to go out in such a poor way.

Falling to their deaths is the best way to kill a villain. You get to hear their fear on the way down.
And it's just badass
Until *KERSPLAT!*
the best one i liked was from die hard at the end with Hans Gruber when John detached the watch form Holly's wrist
It’s the best when they fall into the void or on a spike because they can’t come back in the sequel
@nativewood you are right

*Chris and Jackie laugh so hard knowing they weren't supposed to say that*
Christopher Lee won a gold for the elegance and poise of that particular fall.
Agreed
It’s just a shame he got the wrong side to where the pool was.
If only the Fellowship had brought a set of scorecards with them.
It’s all done by telekinesis in their realm.
Also fun fact, he told Peter Jackson that when you get stabbed in the back, you don’t scream but gasp because the air is taken out of you.
How can you missed Die Hard? It was pretty iconic.
You would of thought so
I was thinking the same thing.
@@danielmiller5925 it's on part 5
First one that came to mind before I clicked.
Its in the next parts. Watch all of them.
0:47 I love that Kevin Bacon looks like bacon in this movie.
Bacon Kevin
I'm glad you added in Dick Jones and his freakishly long arms.
Yeah- I've always noticed that one too!
Early piss-poor CGI

Meanwhile Loki: "I've been falling... For thirty minutes!"
The fall shockingly didn’t kill Trevelyan, he survived just long enough for the apparatus to crush him
I’m still not sure how!
Yeah, you have to suspend your disbelief extra hard for that particular scene...such a fall *should* have killed him instantly.
Probably to avoid an R rating!
@@DadeauxSensei Nah, him dying instantly from the impact wouldn’t have been as brutal. Do you know how many Disney villains fell?

Ah yes, the most iconic way to kill a villain. The old fall.
Probably the most satisfying way to kill off the villain, apart from feeding them to a monster and/or its young.
The first one from golden eye is actually quite brutal, he survives the fall but then gets crushed
Its funny that when i think of it, All 3 Rush Hours had a main villian fall to their death
One of the best villain falls was Hans Gruber... How it's not on this list is beyond me

The most epic death falling ever
He didn’t yell! But you still can’t forget it
Not a proper list without that one
Well there is more than one of these so maybe it's in another
Gaston in the original Beauty & the Beast had the most harrowing scream I've ever heard. It sounded so real for an animated movie.
I know right, that one got me at the cartoon one like, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" XD
By far the most common villain death
From when I was younger I always remember Antz, one of the few times an animated villain falls and you see the impact.
Max Zorin at the end of View To A Kill, even the way he laughs in disbelief as it's about to happen is funny
Favorite Parts: 0:20 Ricky Tan's scream. 0:25 Crash. 0:43 Linda releases the elevator. 0:47 Sebastian screaming. 1:15 Shot.
I like ur vids cuz its a villain falling but with sound not music
You're forgetting the MOST FAMOUS of all: Wyle E. Coyote 😏
"Remember, Sully, when I promised to kill you last?"
"That's right, Major, you did!"
"I lied..."
Commando
"Let uff sahm steem, Bennet!"
I love how some falling deaths mimic previous key events and/or themes of said villain
This guy's up to pt29 of these compilations, what a madlad
Feel like the fall in the Beauty and the Beast remake was near as cool as the original.
Missing the classic of Emperor Palpatine in Return of the Jedi down the Death Star shaft.
He didn't die though... somehow.
All i hear when Saurman falls is "trololol lol la lol la lol lol!! Hahahahahah!"
Gravity is the real hero of these movies.

Formulaic. Like pointing a gun really close to the protagonist's head and talking. Overdone.

The man got killed by golden gate bridge in 1:01 and he died
That was the perfect way to wack Saruman, traitor died a traitor's death.
Great preview

It's a mystery of the ages.
Stop-motion human puppets aren't exactly remembered for their accuracy 😅
That's the reason I love them!
This makes me realize how OP Evanora from Oz Great and Powerful is
DAAAMMNN! ... he ain't gonna be in Rush Hour 3!
Any list titled “Villain’s Falling To Their Deaths” that doesn’t include Hans Gruber’s death in ‘Die Hard’ is no list at all.

Every Disney villains death, ever.
The guy at the beginning didn't die from the fall, but then the contraption that hung above the bowl fell on him
Like how sometimes they'll fall to
Their deaths in a fiery explosion or big
Ball explosion.
You only see their silhouettes of
Them vanishing.
In every Rush Hour movie a villain falls to their death 😂

Can’t believe they missed Hans Gruber from this list
