One of the outstanding times for me in my 50 yrs a chelsea fan was at derby.....remember going into the popside with a couple of thousand blues....didnt take all the popside but it was a great memory...stairs at the back of the popside saw two groups at it....chelsea sang for the whole of the first half non stop...chelsea fans were on each others shoulders swaying and singing....outstanding moment....respect goes to the popsiders defending their third of their end

Forgotten all about this game until now, thanks for uploading mate. Since I started going to games regularly in the 79-80 season, I dont think I ever missed a Derby - Chelsea fixture at the Baseball Ground, now sadly missed. Not a ground that held massive numbers but always a lively atmosphere. One of my best memories there was a 3-1 win for Chelsea in the FA Cup, third round in 1988 (when the FA Cup meant a lot more), Chelsea hanging on to a 2-1 lead when Roy Wegerle broke away late on to seal it. Also, a 2-1 Christmas holidays win in the snow, 1983-84 season.

What a game , defending was rubbish , but what entertainment this was , Durie was underrated , very clinical in front of goal .

I picked up a new motor at a local auction that morning and had the wheel trims nicked when staying overnight at Chesterfield - does anyone know who stole them?

This was the first professional game I ever went to! Not a bad one to start with. Unfortunately my next match I attended was 0-0!

6 past England's Wright and Shilton. Who are all those people with blue scarves celebrating when Chelsea scored, 13 years before Abramovic?

I think Wright pulled his hamstring around 4-4 but had to stay on from memory due to subs used ... he was majestic at The Rams ...

Clough learned a lot from playing and scoring a hat trick for Middlesbrough in the 6-6 draw v Charlton: "how many goals do we need to score to win?", he asked his defenders

Andi Sadler Factualy it does. It was 1975 and three years after we won it under Cloughie. If you are going to argue a point, at least do your research first. Touché
