Last crusade was the first huge film for me as a kid. I'll never forget my aunt coming over raving about it and ended up going again the same day with my mom me and brother! I can't count how many times I've watched Indiana Jones and I love all three in their own ways equally.

It's funny because when I was a very young kid I remember liking these movies but was somewhat indifferent to them. But then one day ,when I was an adult, I just happen to catch raiders of the lost on like cable or something and I just loved it so much. I had a whole new appreciation for them also of course I went watched the trilogy. Of note pirates of the Caribbean really reminds me of Indiana Jones for some reason lol
They are so awesome, the ultimate adventure movies! We agree, Pirates is the closest thing to Indy that we’ve ever seen 🏴☠️

Crystal skull was the first movie of the franchise I saw . I still like them all and I acknowledge the weaker parts of the movie but since it’s what I saw as a young kid when it cam sour I like it more ( same with star wars ). I think the 4th Indiana Jones did a good job of giving instructions and clues and actually incorporating well.
Great episode guys. I was waiting for you both to do the Indy series and you both pulled it off well. My only suggestion is, to put on the list, is both of y'alls favorite Netflix Original movies to review. I think that would be a good episode. Just some food for thought but keep up the great content.

Just one correction: Vogel was the Nazi Colonel who had the tank chase scene.
Donavan was the American Nazi sympathizing businessman who recruited Indy, double crossed him, shot Jones Sr. and challenged him in the end, chose the false grail and decayed in real time.

Indiana Jones is the series that makes me wanna be a director. In the one in a million chance i get to make a movie this big. I would shoot it on film and do the same practical stunt techniques in these movies. The perfect director, character, actor, and production of all time.

I know you guys really love these films. I do too. But great stunt work in film definitely does not begin with Indy. James Bond had been unbelieveable stunts for years like, ahem, Rick Sylvester (doubling as Bond) skiing off the mountaintop in The Spy Who Loved Me. That stunt was done for real on one take. That is just one. And crazy stunt work caught on film has been around since the 1900s.
Temple of Doom is my favorite Indiana Jones movie didn’t even know people hated it lol

the whole trilogy holds up fabulously well
I thought they changed the scene of Indy shooting the sword guy, because Ford and a lot of the other crew were suffering from Food Poisoning 😂 Is that just an urban legend?

The Ark kills, the unworthiness of holding the stone (and the fall and the crocodiles) kills, the wrong cup kills and the excess of alien knowledge kills.
Indy is the the good guy who's watching bad guys getting killed for lack of wisdom.

They guy who made the show is friends with the guy that created Rick and morty. Do you know what I’m tired of hearing is people using the phrase nostalgia. OK so let me explain it more deeply the word nostalgia basically means what we seen in our past and what we have experienced whether it’s movies music and so forth or toys growing up that’s all nostalgia is. All I’m saying is say for instance you’re young person or old person And in the first time in your life you see Indiana Jones or any other franchise for the first time in your life and you like it you want to see it again and again and it doesn’t matter how old it is it goes beyond nostalgia Some movies are classics for many reasons that go beyond time other than just nostalgia.
