This is an acoustic guitar instructional video on how to play Hey Joe by Jimi Hendrix - Hudba
There is no "incorrect" in music. It's called improvising...AND he stated in the first 20 seconds of the video that he was playing an acoustic version.... Also, Jimi himself played it differently EVERY single time because it depended on how hard he was trippin'
I just had a guy come up and tell me we were playing a song wrong at a show last weekend. I tried to explain how it all works to him but he wasn't hearing it.
"Go on YT and click the first 5 links when you enter the title and tell me how many sound exactly the same." Hell, they weren't all even in the same key.
He still wasn't convinced so I asked him to show me. He walked off muttering. LMAO

...My thing is, the audience can whip out their I-Phone if they want to hear the EXACT original, right...???..So why not make the song your own...how YOU do it....the audience will appreciate it....

sometimes this are the lessons that help the most. Great jod man. I mean,I love to learn songs but sometimes I spent to much time in trying to sound exactly as the original,and Now I dont care much. I learn the chords and I play it how I feel. this song is perfect for that and besides,I love Hendrix and I have only play acoustic since I've been learnin. thank you!

This is very good; I can get some ideas here. Suggestions are: better camera angle and include the single note "run" on the 6th & 5th strings. Just a little too short. But he could (also) make a great cover of the song, nice playing and singing.
Great job and thanks for puting this video up. Could you tell what is the strum pattern you are using when you go into the chords? I am hearing some dead notes, which sounds really cool, and would like to learn how you are doing it.

Hey Vince, just found your music looking for Mustang Sally. Great rythm and soul in your playing. On some of the lessons just a little more help would be nice. On Hey Joe above, everything is clear until you go to the E-shapes on 4th and 5th frets. It is hard to follow which strings you are playing and the order. Can you slow each step just a little. I plan to look at all of your videos. Thanks
