Can't even imagine watching and waiting for every competition without him coz he's my main reason...
He certainly has a strong passion for this jump. I think it's his favourite of all. The way he jumps it makes it look like poetry, he elevated Axel to the rank of an art. His Quad Axel will definitely be a masterpiece, his trademark.

What low scores for some perfect triple axels!
Having said that, it's not fair to evaluate single elements when it comes to Yuzuru's performance. As good as they are on their own, it's the whole complete picture, as well as the befores and afters, that makes his unique and unbeatable. Like that delayed single axel followed by the triple, and the ina bauer that came after a triple! Too gorgeous!
Some of the jumps were so perfect but the goes were still not as high. It's a joke...
When you see this you realize the sheer power he holds, the amount of hard work, sacrifice he's put in to reach perfection and that he produces Art beyond judgement and scores.... It fills my heart with overwhelming pride and love and emotions to watch Yuzu skate... Gosh that delayed Axel followed by Ina Bauer .....
To me, Yuzuru has the most beautiful 3A jump.

The fact that the 3A, the hardest triple jump aka the "king of jumps", is the jump that Yuzu is able to land around 90% of the time in competitions. This man is insane

当時の動画から競技の採点を振り返ると同シーズンのGPF、全日本、WCの点数は低すぎます。

Yuzuru Hanyu could almost grow out wings while doing these jumps and he'll still be underscored.

No difficult transition or musical cue. The max this jump could get is +4 and it got mainly +4s with a few 3s.
I know absolutely nothing about ice skating, but I do like watching this guy spin really fast on ice.

Only +3.77??? +3.77 is almost the max GOE for 3A, which is +4.00. +3.77 means that five judges called +５and two judges called +４．
@@foxtrot2048 No. You will get 50% of the Base Value for +5 GOE. So, the max score for 2A is 3.3 + 1.65 = 4.95. 11.50 + 5.75 = 17.25 for 4Lz. That makes sense. However, even if Yuzu jumps perfect 4A, he will get only 12.50 + 6.25 = 18.75. That’s unfair. And no Base Value for 5T now.
@@foxtrot2048 It's like this: A perfect +5 across all judges would be +50% of Jump Base Value for GOE, if all judges gave +4 it would be +40% of BV for GOE. So a 3A with a BV of 8.00 and GOE of +5 from all judges would be, 8.00(BV) + 4.00(GOE) = 12.00 total. So Yuzu's 3.77 GOE would mean 2 judges gave him +4 and the rest, +5 and has a total of 11.77, very close to max of 12.00 points for a triple Axel. This is why the +5,-5 system favors the quad jumpers. A 4Lz with 11.50 BV can receive a +5.75 GOE which is insane, 17.25 total for a perfect +5 GOE 4Lz.

昨シーズンの全３A集ね。マニアックだが羽生君の３Aはいつ見ても至高だね。にしてもショートでのジャンプなんか降りた後に「余韻」があってため息が出るほど芸術的なのに満点じゃないという…じゃあどんな３Aが満点なのか見せてほしいわ。
isuは採点の基準を間違えている。羽生の完璧な3AをGOE5のモデルとしてそこからすべての3Aを減点すべき。高さスピード飛距離着氷姿勢ながれといった数値化できるが採点しにくい初心者教本みたいな語句を羅列するから政治力が働く。構えがなく前後にどれだけ難しい要素が絡んでいるかは演技の連続性表現性に直結する。羽生の3Aほど技術と芸術性を融合させたジャンプは未曽有。
ISUは露骨ですよね。そんなことしても次のスターは生まれないし、フィギュアの人気も上がらない。むしろ逆効果です。
4大陸のショートは本当に可哀想だった。
確かに四大陸のバラードの３Aは完璧で、+５ではなく+４にしたジャッジが7人中2人いる理由は理解できません。でも、個人的にオトナルのツイズルサンド３Aが最高に好きなのでスケートカナダで全員のジャッジに+５を貰って、３Aの最高GEO+４を獲得できたことはとても喜ばしいです。もちろんバラードはすばらしいですが、せっかく木洞まで見に行った四大陸でオトナルのツイズルサンド３Aを生で見られなかったことが未だに残念です。競技プロでなくてショーのプログラムでもいいので是非ツイズルサンド３Aをまた、見せてください。

あれは本当に衝撃だった。羽生ならでは・羽生にしかできない。何か、ツイヅルしてる間に浮いてるーって思った（笑）それくらい繋がっていて滑らかだった…。惚れ惚れするね、羽生の演技には。
@@msnk8081 「こぐ」というむだな時間がないのですよ。ジャンプを演技の一部とするのは日本スケート界も理想として目指していたはずで、高橋までの世代もそれにむけて要素を洗練していたはず。yuzuはそれを継承し究極に至っています。otnalを例にすれば冒頭4Sから3Aに至るまで小さなクロスステップ２で速度をつなぎ最後の4T+3Tにも同様なつなぎで入っている。エッジだけでスピードを確保する。こんなスケートできる選手はいません。日本のジャッジはどこに目をやっているのかと。アメリカに文句を言えと。教本みたいなステップシークエンスで点を稼ぐ話ではないだろうと。要するに「革新性」の問題です。

+4 means he got +5 all around people. So anything close to 4 is almost all +5.

+4s across the board which makes sense. No difficult entry or musical cues so the max it could get is +4

I don't skate, this is the first time I heard about 'delayed axel'. It looks beautiful to me! Never seen it in competition, so I guess it's either too low on value or forbidden?
delayed axel is a beauty!! 😍 yes if skaters put it in their competitive program, the base value is too low comparing to a 2a or 3a, unless someone is willing to try a 'delayed 2a' 😂. that's why you often find it mostly in exhibitions
Delayed axel is in yuzuru’s Otonal, so he did have it in competition. It’s such a beautiful jump, amazing how he can stay in air for so long....

it's short for 'grade of execution', goe is the score used for the judges to evaluate the quality of the element (from jumps to spins, and even step sequence) and then add it to the base value (bv) of the element.

なにか目論見があるのかどうかはわからないけど、今のところ全てから回ってるようにしか見えないです。ISUは汚れてしまったのですか。
優遇する選手と冷遇する選手は最初から決まっているのでしょう。
