- This is a Unique Off Road Camping Trailer from Track. This TVAN Zenith from Track Trailers is like nothing I've seen before. Instead of a pop UP, it's a pop OUT. With an incredible amount of room and features packed into a very small and relatively light frame, this trailer caught my eye. Thanks to the folks over at XGRiD Campers for letting me use this trailer for a few weeks this summer.

I was looking at Patriot Campers several years ago, but the price tag was too hefty for me, so I ended up building my own trailer which I’ve since towed to countless places in the Sierra Nevada, Baja, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada. I’m not saying these pro grade trailers aren’t worth the money, but I just don’t have that much disposable cash laying around that I can justify the purchase.
It’s definitely pricey. It’s a luxury trailer that’s also rugged.
I think you nailed it. Not everyone has the disposable cash for one of these…but for those that do, it’s an interesting option. And for those that don’t, it might give you some ideas on what to look for or build.

I appreciate the review, I'm sure it's well-built, but it seemed pretty busy. I was waiting to see you put the tent away. That looks like it would be a chore. Enjoyed the video and look forward to the next one.
I did a vid of putting it away, but thought it was boring so I cut it lol. Maybe I’ll put it out as a reel/short. It 3-5 mins to set up..and about the same to pack it up. Coddiewomple Overland had it for a while too. Will be interesting to see his take on it.
It tows nicely lots of clearance. Getting some things finished up on mine & will be practically living in it. Good video, does the great features.

Super cool and a little strange lol..but it was really fun to test it out for a few weeks.
One thing nice about thar trailer is, with your roof top tent, you have room for 4 comfortably! Put the kids in the roof top, then you and your wife in the camper and everyone has comfortable room. Add in storage for your fridge in the camper, you have less room taken up in the Jeep. One other point. 100 am hours would probably allow you to jump start your Jeep if you have a dead battery in the morning. I like it!
Great points. With our RTT we could actually have a group of 8 or tons of room for 4 (which is what we did). I never thought about mentioning that. I think you can expand the power to 200ah as well.

I really love Aev aftermarket parts on bothe Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator. A Gladiator with Aev bumpers, driving lights, extended camera housing, sliders, skid plates. The one thing I don't like is where they mount the spare tyre for all types dual cab trucks.
Makes me want to be out in the wild. My son drove through the Lolo Motorway today and is spending the night at Burnt Knob in Magruders in his JL. He could actually send me pictures from there today.

Anyway what a unique rig! Great for an overlander trasitioning to a trailer especially with kidos. Bit of set up time but what trailer that is light enough to be pulled by a jeep doesn't.
Sure its pricey but thats a long trip from AU. Talk is cheap money buys whiskey. I would take it over a Taxa or expedition explorer. No offense to anyone.
Xgrid is a great outfit and for off road trailers probably the best dealer in US. IMHO
Dude, I’m king of the dorks. You make great points about the trailer. They are really high-end and high quality…and priced accordingly. XGRiD is the best…they have been awesome to work with. I’m having a blast getting to know them and the trailers they carry.

It's a really interesting trailer..very unique from what I've seen.
OMG Will, it took me less time to build a 3200 sqft home. Part of the reason I like my trailer is I can dive into the back and take a quick nap or jump into fast if a rainstorm pops up. Way-way too complicated
😂😂😂. Best comment yet. You can do that with this one too. I use it like that in my next trip vid. But, ya…I get it. I’m a 30 seconds to have things set up kind of a guy. I’m also not a trailer guy..but this thing has some pretty cool features. You can get a family of four in there, which I think it really unique..but I’m not trying to sell it…just enjoying getting to try it out.
It must be the exchange rate with Australia's currency - 56K and up makes this camper just too darn expensive to be taken seriously. That's the same issue as Patriot Campers....
It’s in the same price group as Patriot and other Aussie trailers. I agree it’s expensive…but if someone is shopping in that price range I think this is a really interesting option.
@@Venture2Roam You're missing the point - I have owned much more expensive rigs than this TVAN rig (F250 Diesel pulling a 27' Airstream). People move into this camping segment for a reason; there just aren't that many buyers that will fork over that much money and still have to use a cassette toilet and privacy tent.

So what you are stating as a problem…is your problem, not everyone else’s, even if it seems ridiculous to you. I paid BUCKETS of money for a Jeep 392, but vomit in my mouth at the thought of how much a Revel costs. So value is relative to the buyer.
@@dalekarraker6851 These and the Patriot campers are all over Australia, and the price is the same with the dollar conversion. You can't compare it to a 27 foot Airstream. This is built to go off road anywhere your vehicle goes. They are handmade in Australia. Price out the electrics alone in this thing. It may not be for you, but demand certainly isn't an issue. How do you build in a bathroom and room for 6, in a form factor this small and offroad worthy? How do you do hard off-road tracks with something bigger and heavier? There's a reason this segment is growing. Look at the most popular off road vehicles. Tacoma, 4Runner, Wrangler. None are built for towing. This is perfect for them.
Which is better between the ARB earth camper vs TVAN?!
Tough question - I haven't used the ARB yet, but they look similar in many ways.
@@Venture2Roam which one has more floor space with that extended room door down vs the floor space on the tvan. I can’t find floor measurements anywhere on the web for ARB Earth camper. I have 2 100 lb dogs and wanted to know if they both would fit in that floor space for either models
@@D_F_L_ One factor that may matter, is the ARB might be considered a 4 sided hard wall trailer due to the design. I'm not sure this would. That matters in certain bear country areas.

Nice. But teardrops don't work for me. I like to be able to cook where I'm not going to be rained or snowed on. I like to stand up on the inside. That's why they won't work for me.

56-73 grand, insurance.... i can rough it a bit and have all that saved money for nice hotels and someone else cook, longgggggg hot showers.😊 just buy another jeep so you have two. More space,recovery rig, its a wi win.

I'll check with XGRiD - but I'm almost certain the answer is yes, and you can expand the battery set up to include 2 100Ah lithium batteries.
Too much work to set up. And looks like that rear hatch would be a place for water to leak after a few yrs
It’s like a 3-5 min set up/break down time. Not sure about the leaking..but they’ve been making these in Australia for years, so I bet those issues have been documented by someone over there on CZcams.
Not for the price.
It’s definitely not a budget trailer. It’s in that luxury/expedition trailer price range.
