Using scrapbook glue dots on the inside of your candlesticks is an easy way to get them to stay straight. You can also use a dab of hot glue, melted wax, museum wax, or wax candle fitters. You can even use a little bit of play dough wedged down in the candlestick to help.

Dude people in usa really know how to enjoy life and enjoy decorating and making their life movie like. Here in europe people domt decorate for christmas let alone for other seasons. Its depresing
Well I must say that us Europians don't generally dislike decorating or have nothing put up. But we definately have a different level of quantity how we decorate our homes and tend to keep the exterior more simple and easy. I do really enjoy decorating the interior though. ☺️😉

So, do your own thing...start the trend! A pretty or rustic bowl of apples, a scrap of fall color ribbon or swatch of homespun on jars of sugar, flour, etc. A vase, pitcher or mason jar of fresh cut fall colored leaves on a thin twig branch, a wreath on door, a couple pots of fall color flowering plants by front door entrance...a couple jar candles scented in apple, pecan or woodland...to be lit each day in different rooms...a cozy fall colored throw or quilt draped over a couch arm, waiting to be snuggled in. Fall decor doesnt have to be extravagant or expensive...just cozy!

Love the entire space. Just the right amount of decor , without overdoing it. Loved the idea of the wood beaded riser on the mantel.... but I would have put it on top of the scarf for color and added texture. The wood looks so good with the top of the mantel.

I like to start early because I'm getting close to 70yrs. and it takes me longer now. My great grand daughters that live with me and their great grand pops love it, they are 14 and 11. All very pretty,but,Iam not a fan of the living room being the dining room,probably just me,to each his own .
We are a family of 10. I have 8 children.We needed a big space for a large table so this works out perfect for us. We love this space and I think I did a pretty good job making it look like a dining room.

I’ve never understand the vision of having “happy fall y’all” or “hello pumpkin” or “gather” written on EVERYTHING. It makes a well designed tablescape or vignette, look decorated , dated, expected and boring.
I disagree but everyone has their own opinion. I like using words in my decor. If it was considered dated I don't think every BIG home decor store would carry items like that. 🤷
