- Flying paragliders down one of the most spectacular canyon landscapes in North America
Exploring the 2,000ft deep, Tuolumne Canyon close to Yosemite National Park CA. This video won 2nd place overall at the North Cal Free Flight Film Festival in December 2012. - Sport
Thank you so much for this video! It originally made me think about paragliders, and now after 3 years I am a pilot and have my own gear. Cheers!
Some of us can only dream of doing that...Thank you for sharing!
That was a great video. It is amazing how much fun you can have with those low slow machines... thank you...
That was spectacular Rex! Thanks for sharing and now I have the bug!
I love flights like this! Great job in putting this production together...
Super incredible!!! You guys totally rock it up!!!
This video is in my favourites! Love it!
These kind of flights are why I started PPGing. EXCELLENT production!
oh man what an incredible life! you guys are so lucky! All the best to you
Epic scenery and righteous concept. Can't wait to do similar things.
Awesome flight, talk about a commitment. Definitely for the well experienced pilot. Amazing experience, you are lucky. I'm training in June.
Gorgeous video - thanks for sharing.
Great flight, great scenery gentlemen
Stunner of a canyon!
Great video man... looks pretty professional and enjoyable to watch...

Awsome... as always...
Awesome video! I'm from sonora, so all these places look familiar.
So amazing. Can’t wait to get training and equipment.
Awesome video man! I wanna fly that canyon!
Excellent video production. Very professional and outstanding scenery. Maybe I'll see you at Salton Sea this year.
Jó felvétel,gyönyörű táj,gratulálok!
That's what she said^
endo hacer igual con mi paramotor biplaza a través del Rio Tinto. Precioso video amigo.
V ery good friend. Greetings from Spain.
risky but well worth the reward, thanks for the video!!
Epic !
Stunning footage! Excellent work gents. What was your total flight time?
That was AWESOME! Have you been back a 2nd time? Do you ever experience sudden downdrafts when close to the land or updrafts?
Hi Rex, nevermind me. I perused your channel and you are indeed a sky God. You need no advice from a comparative chucklehead like myself. Be safe.
Hey Glenn, the Arches footage you shot was amazing. it would be cool to fly with you sometime.
Biutifull !!
Wow...I'd be really curious to hear how you compare the thrill of ppg to aerobatic plane? I fly ppg and am considering getting a plane for stunts, but was wondering if since you fly so much higher in the plane, if it becomes less thrilling than the low ppg flying....seems like when I fly high, it feels like a flight simulator. Had a cessna
You missed some of the best paragliding in the world, Manila, NSW AND the sea cliffs of Bali during the Trade Wind season, not to forget paragliding off an active volcano in Bali!
I've kayaked that gorge. Probably as close as I will get to "flying" down river.
Superb
Just really really nice, what more an I say. fly safe Twiggy UK
At 7:20, 7:52 & 8:14 were perfect locations to drop in for some paracamping. You ready for the next adventure?
Cool👍
BTW.. Garrettt says Hi and he LOVED the video...
Lovely clip. Quick question from Africa, is the U.S. The only country you can make A living being a stunt pilot? Aus no good?
Wow nice this video mantap...
Rex, ok you've done the ppg thing, you've got a runway man, go rigid wing. Fly a weight shift trike when your not flying 3 axis. I guarantee you'll appreciate the difference. Take a look at either Flylight's Dragons or Evolution's REV. You'll find they offer a more stable camera platform, greater range, greater safety and less running along the ground with a fan on your back looking like you've got to go poopy. Cheers.
fantastico..!!!

I would be so irritated to poke my head out of my tent while I am backpacking a pristine wilderness and hear your fan.
Aren't you the same guy that drives that garbage truck in the city for a living? You know, the one with the back up beeper that services all the down town roll off dumpsters starting at 3:00 AM?
See the Scout footage in Iceland.
You still living in the area? I'm slightly lower than you but it's not far.
My wife is a stunt pilot... you know..
Thanks for all the cool comment, Joe flying PPG and aerobatic aircraft is totally different. Two of the most unique cool sports in the world. Remember when your confident at aerobatics ( i am certainly not) you can fly very low as well! Low ppg flying is amazing because you can get access to the most amazing places.
You should make documentary
Nice... I would have flown it with you for sure. Call me next time... :)
Call jeff goin in with his copter to rescue you.
Rex, let us know when you or your wife fly MCclure again.
Be a good human on planet earth and check regulations on noise pollution.
Awesome, but as you say, you'd be completely F'd if your engine stops. Glad you recorded it, but it doesn't seem worth the risk.
Na,just a rough landing and a long walk out..should be ok though.
Always expect that your motor will fail. The number one cause of death from PPG is drowning.
I thought I would see the Canyon with a bit of narration but nooooooo mostly up close face shots .... followed by my turning your video off
Sorry you didn't actually watch the video, it was mostly spectacular views of the canyon and river. Seems a while lot of professionals think it was pretty amazing as well "This video won 2nd place overall at the North Cal Free Flight Film Festival in December 2012." So there is that.
Pretty much the worst paramotor gear on the market that sooooo many have been injured & killed on but cool video other than that. You really need to get the right gear in this sport. 18 people died just last year alone on gear just like you are flying. Zero have ever died on Flat Top paramotors in the history of the sport. Huge world of difference.
SUPERDELL Schanze i follow you on your vids, Parajet is a good gear?
i fly ParaJet and love it I own 2 of them
do your research before taking any advice from this guy
Do your research before buying anything from Dell Schanze.
No it's horrible. It hasn't had a single safety update since the very first 1980's units and people have been getting seriously injured & killed on them over and over and over in all the same ways for a very long time without a single update to address ANY of the issues. The Flat Top is the ONLY unit on the market with innovative design features to address every single known issue in the sport.
