Thank you to Nana KSM for giving the truth to the younger generation. Allowing Avraham to spread his message and ideologies on such a respected and competent platform. It's about time we Africans liberated our minds from mental bondages through religion and whitenization. Our generation has provided us with access to information about history. We have access to knowing why as a people we have allowed our very way of life and thinking to be influenced by another race who took everything from us setting us back centuries of years. It's about time we let these foreign books and its stories go and focus solely on building for us by us. It is my opinion that if most Ghanaians were traditional believers, there will be less corruption and more unity and nation building
When most Africans were traditionalist ages ago, we still sold each other to slavery for fancy things. We killed each other for sacrifices, we killed each other for lands and titles, we enslaved our brothers and sisters...... So just understand it is not about the religion, it is about the mentality we have. There are more religious people than Africans such as the Arabs and you can't say or they can't say that religion is their problem, it is rather a light to their part mainly because they used their mentality to turn that light ON. The religion is not the problem, it is us the people.

You just have a problem adopting your own ancestral ways rather than foreign concepts and ideologies . These Arabs you want to rub in my face with examples are following a religion they created or invented themselves. Where is the pride you have in yours? Why can’t you stick to yours and fix what is wrong with it? You guys have the energy to defend foreigners ideologies to your own indigenous one. 1. If you say Christianity or Islam was created so we shouldn't adopt it, what about great nations that are thriving who actually adopted it, there are lots of "Christian countries" thriving but they also adopted Christianity. So how come is that same Christianity a taboo to Africans?
2. As Africans, what shows that going back to our indigenous religion will solve our problems?

Give me names of any black or African nations that have had a successful economy with Christianity or Islam as their main religion of practice? My brother your views on religion is flawed. Let me educate you about sth you probably have not considered. Religion as you see it is part of any societies culture once adopted. My question to you is what is wrong with your own African belief system? Why is it hard for you to see the good in what is yours and not borrowed or adopted! I’ll give you examples of countries that stuck with their own traditional systems and have had success in their economy. China, Japan, India, South & North Korea, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar etc. these people did not leave behind their indigenous ways and are they not successful than every African country on the continent? I don’t have to convince you at this point. What is stopping you from reforming and building on what your forefathers left behind instead of ignoring it and adopting sth that is foreign? I hope you are aware the Europeans introduced the Bible to African before they started enslaving us! They knew what love, compassion and righteousness was but they ignored all that and enslaved some of our ancestors. Packed them like sardines to work for over 500 years for FREE! Where is the love and compassion they were preaching when they brought their books. Believe what you may but nobody can free your mind from mental slavery but yourself

What proves do you have that adoption of our indigenous beliefs will take us to the level of other countries?
Other countries like Iraq don't know peace although they didn't adopt another religion. Not adopting a foreign religion doesn't guarantee you success. The people themselves guarantee you success. More than 78% of Chinese are unbeliefs and they are successful. It means they don't even care about their indigenous beliefs but they are at the top.
What proves do you have, what concrete evidence do you have that indigenous religion predominantly in Africa will make us great?
Tell me that evidence and explain how it will turn out even with the attitude we have as Africans.

Logic is a product of intellect, and intellect is a function of the brain. Now, the ability of the brain to think and comprehend information is limited strictly to the physical or natural, and it (the brain) learns only through experience and subsequent learning. What this means is that unless the brain has ever experienced or been exposed to something, it can never understand, identify, or agree with that thing. This is how limited the brain is, and this is also why 'logic' can never be a standard of judgment when you're dealing with the subject of Faith -- because Faith goes far beyond the physical or natural. The concept of Faith emerges from realms as well as touches on subjects and topics that the brain has never experienced and therefore can never understand. Faith is not limited to rational or logical facts. Faith is spiritual, and it is activated by the Word of God (a promise from God). Logic does not have access to the spirit realm.
Again, there's the Mind, and there's what we call Divine/Pure/Higher Intelligence. This is the Intelligence of the Spirit (you can also call Him the Holy Spirit or the higher self). The Mind is higher, more advanced, and more powerful than the brain, but the Divine/Pure/Higher Intelligence is also beyond the Mind and supreme to both the Mind and the brain. In fact, the limitless or infinite ability of the Mind is actually supported and activated by the Intelligence of the Spirit. For what we call 'Consciousness' is the active part of the Mind that is connected to the Spirit.
Now, every human being has a Spirit, hence we all have the Supreme Intelligence. However, not everybody is connected to their Supreme Intelligence because not everybody is spiritual. To be connected to and be able to harness the power of your Supreme Intelligence, you must first be connected to the Spirit. For when you get connected to the Spirit, the Spirit gives you access to what He has. And because the Spirit is limitless or infinite in knowledge (of both spiritual and natural concepts and ideologies), understanding, wisdom, and ability etc, whoever gets connected to Him also becomes limitless in all the aforementioned virtues.
Nevertheless, you must understand that sin, carnality, and worldliness are the barriers that prevent people from getting connected to the Spirit. This is why most people only depend and base all their arguments and ideologies on logic. Because they're limited in thinking, knowledge, understanding, wisdom, ability, etc.
Actually, I don't want to go deeper into this mystery. But to cut long story short, logic can never be used to analyze and assess Faith and Faith-related issues because it is limited. It is only the Spirit (The Holy Spirit) that can inspire and activate Faith in people once the Word of God has gone forth. Therefore, when it comes to the subject of Faith, we submit wholeheartedly to the Holy Spirit and depend solely on His Divine, infinite Wisdom and Intelligence. We do not lean or rely on our own intellect and understanding, because, as flesh and blood, we're very much limited.

I wish you could elaborate more for me on the subject of the Holy Spirit. Help me understand this, are you referring to the "Holy Spirit" from the Christian perspective?

There's Truth -- which is general or universal (meaning it applies to all equally); there's Perception -- that's how you interpret and understand the Truth by virtue of your mindset, mentality, or thinking pattern; and then there's Perspective -- how you interpret and understand the Truth by virtue of your position or belief-systems. Thus, both Perception and Perspective are limited to the Mental, Emotional, and Physical dimensions of our abilities in both evaluation and understanding. However, Truth is Spiritual, hence, it is deeper. Truth is a spirit, and that spirit is the Holy Spirit (this is why Jesus called the Holy Spirit 'The Spirit of Truth'). Truth is first accessed by the Consciousness (this is the active part of the Mind that connects to the Holy Spirit), then relayed or transmitted to the brain -- the Conscious Mind connects to and communicates with the pineal gland in the brain (this is where the connection between the third eye and the pineal gland comes from). In short, Truth is that which actually is; Perception is how you see that which is based on how you think; and Perspective is how you see that which is based on where you stand. Hence, again, both perception and perspective are logic-oriented or logic-based.
What I'm trying to say is that if you want to know or understand who the Holy Spirit is strictly from the "Christian perspective", or from any kind of perspective at all, you'll be limited, and, in most cases, you'll be misinformed. For I've seen several Christians speak about the Holy Spirit in ways that reveal they don't really know who the Holy Spirit actually is. Therefore, I'll advise you consult your consciousness (that's if you're already connected to it. If not, get help), for it'll lead you to the Truth.
Bonus: The Bible says "the eyes of your understanding being enlightened...". Now, the 'understanding' is the Mind, and the eyes of the Mind is the consciousness. So when the consciousness is connected to the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit begins to reveal the Truth to the consciousness (which is the eye of the Mind), it is called ENLIGHTENMENT.

@@yitsous2 exactly. The Holy Spirit is not affiliated to any religion. He is (potentially) for all but not (practically) connected to all. In fact, God Himself is not affiliated to any religion or religious practice in particular. God is universal. Again, there's a difference between religion and Spirituality. Traditional (conventional and distorted) Christianity is religious both in belief and practice. Also, they believe in and practice segregation and discrimination. They believe certain 'spiritual' advantages are exclusively reserved for them, which is not true; however, True Christianity is Spirituality. Spirituality is universal both in belief and practice -- there's no division (except for that which exists between Light and darkness). True spirituality always recognizes True spirituality, even as Truth always recognizes Truth, no matter whom or where it's coming from. Again, True and Potent Faith is spiritual both in nature and expression, not religious. Jesus said in the last days the true worshippers shall worship God (the Father) in Spirit and in Truth. These are the two most important requirements for being a true worshipper of God -- 1. You must be spiritual (not religious), and 2. You must know and live by the Truth. Meaning, there's True Spirituality (spirituality in Truth) -- one that is built on the principles of Light/Divinity/God; and there's False Spirituality (spirituality in falsehood) -- one that is built on the premise of falsehood, or that is affiliated to darkness. Anyway, I hope you know that Jesus Christ did not found anything called Christianity? What He actually introduced His disciples to was True Spirituality, and He commissioned them to raise or make other disciples even as He made them -- spiritual disciples who know, believe in, and practice (live by) the Truth.
Finally, other 'religions' call the Holy Spirit "Spirit" or "Higher self" etc.

The physical Self is the Body, the True self is the Soul, and the Higher self is the Spirit (the Holy Spirit). The Holy Spirit (Spirit/Higher Self) completes our tripartite nature (Body, Soul, and Spirit), and He's the God-factor in Man. He's the reason why God (the Creator) said He has made us gods on this earth, for He put a piece of Himself (His Spirit) in us. The Holy Spirit is the Breath of life which God breathed into the nostrils of Man. He's the life-source of the Body-- hence, the Bible says "the Body without the Spirit is dead. The Holy Spirit is the bridge of communication between Man and God, and vice versa. Every Man has the Holy Spirit, but He's not connected to everybody because of sin and iniquity (refer Isaiah 59). Sin and iniquity makes a person filthy and unclean. And Divinity cannot make His abode where there's filth and uncleanness -- for Divinity is Pure and Holy. Therefore, the Holy Spirit disconnects Himself from sinners.
But when a Man truly repents from his sinful ways and becomes born-again through the Lord Jesus, all his past sins are forgiven him by God, and he's made clean (by the Blood of Jesus). Therefore, now that he's clean, he can be reconciled with the Holy Spirit. So the concept of reconciliation is first with the Holy Spirit, then with God through the Holy Spirit.

A friend's grandma was admitted into hospital last year, after a few days in hospital she passed away.(clinically) My friend called me and was was crying, very desperate dude cos she was all he had. He told me he will give anything just to have his grandma back. I consoled him and told him JESUS can save. He didn't even believe in JESUS guess what , my sister and I prayed with my friend on phone while he was in the presence of his Grandma and we used him as a point of contact for here he declared JESUS Christ as his Lord and personal savior and after about 10 minutes of serious prayer and supplication to JESUS Christ out LORD and personal saviour, his grandma was brought back to life. She had the life of Christ in her because he believed at the moment with all his heart. You know what killed his Grandma, ? It was juju. Somebody took her to juju , she also visited juju .on her dying bed , juju couldn't save her. On her death bed, JESUS Christ saved her. Always remember that YAWEH is the only one . ELOHIM is the supreme one . All other gods are fabrications of men hence they wield no power over your life if you have the life of JESUS Christ in you . I hope you have a good day bro. I pray you give your life to JESUS and abide under the shadow of the almighty. Read psalm 91 everyday and declare it in your life . Believe it and you'll know the true power of GOD.
