  • INTRODUCING LIFT3
    Our next generation LIFT3 board lineup combines Lift Foil’s past with a look into the future. After 3 years of board design and extensive customer feedback, we have kept some of the features that were most popular while adding more maneuverability and freedom into overall ride, all while improving weight, durability and ride-time.
    How did we do that?
    We redesigned our edges and water release points for a smooth and stable ride on the water, making it easier for any rider to get started on a smaller size board. With a reduced length and decreased mass in the nose of the board, there is less swing weight when carving a turn from side to side so the rider feels enhanced response and more control. The result; a board that offers the best combination of stability and performance, and a whole lot more fun.
    We also redefined the construction of our boards and while doing so, completely evolved the old processes of a 100 year old surfing industry into something modern and high tech. As we began getting deeper into totally new design methodology, we ended up saying “what the hell, why not.”
    Our boards are built in highly refined steel tools used to forge carbon fiber parts at extreme temperatures and heat. This is a process that is used with the most luxurious and advanced supers, and we are the only eFoil company to use such advanced practices. The results are that of a unique marbled carbon fiber that is lighter and stronger than our previous models. Not to mention, it looks incredible.

    This is by far, the best marketing commercial I have ever seen, and I am old. Congratulations to the entire team on this. The amazing videography and clear messaging combined with the genuine and sincere communications skills of the presenter make result in an outstanding result. This sets the bar and should be used in colleges and universities in their business and marketing curriculums as an example to all as to how marketing a product should be done. I will concede the fact that this is an amazing product is a strong asset for the message, but your team did their jobs and hit home runs on every other aspect. Congratulations to the whole team on this project. My only advice would be to get this message in everyone's hands that you can. I pray your company's success continues grow. Congratulations to the whole team. God Bless you all.

    Bought a new board last week. Was told that it is a 2021 model. Your dealer should have told me about the new model coming. I did ask. I truly feel that I should be given the option to get full credit for my purchase and be offered a new model.

    • @agent99vr4
      @agent99vr4 Před 3 lety

      This happens every time there is a new product release unfortunately. Your board is a 2021 year model, that's when it was made for and you can verify this by the last 3 of the HIN ending in 021, so you weren't lied to persay.. One to two weeks out (our independent shop) did advise clients on an incoming model and costs, and the majority opted for the savings and took the Lift 2 or E2. Here's the good news - you bought a solid product that had a price reduction factored in. The batteries are the same, the main hand controller is the same, the new V2 Surf wings give the edge here on run times mostly, so take the savings and grab a new wing or pro remote. :) Everything on the E2 is backwards compatible so you're not missing out, but instead you have a solid product with a 2 year warranty. Don't sweat it and enjoy the board and if there's something you have to have from the Lift 3, you can upgrade much of it! Ride the board. :)

    • @karimsouki7679
      @karimsouki7679 Před 3 lety +4

      @@agent99vr4 Thank you for your reply, but frankly to say that I was not lied to persay is not really a good answer. I asked a straight question and should have been given a straight answer. Your customers were given a choice, I was not and that is the bottom line. A simple admission to a mistake would be better than trying to fudge the issue. I know I can upgrade a lot, but the new board is built better, more solid if I am to believe the announcements, and the size is different. Of course I will no longer sweat it, and enjoy the great product that I have, but it would have been nice to feel that I am really part of the LIFT family and that I do not have to double check and compare any information I get from the company or its dealers.

      @OldmanCrypto100 Před 2 lety

      Not sure why you would compare it to a jetski. efoil is something you will want to ride for hours every day! a jetski literally gets old in 20 mins and is just boring. I live on a lake and wake up and cant wait to get Flying. The jetski's dont get used much

    • @1bluensx

      @@OldmanCrypto100 because a jet ski is something that you can take the family out on, and spend the day on the water. From a 5 year old kid, an overweight middle aged, that’s out of shape, to an 80 year old grandma. (I’m none of these) Everyone can participate. Most people buy water toys for practicality. Not everyone of the groups I just mentioned is gonna be able to get on a foil and ride it, or participate in any way by watching. It’s like buying a single seat track focused car, and asking the family to come join in the fun by watching. Again….at the price point, it’s not practice for a family to spend 45k on 3 boards for an outing. And you say…spend 20 minutes on a jet ski before getting bored? How long on a efoil before you have to recharge battery and wait for it to charge.

      Price is very stupid but around then I think the motors will be worn, the water seals will start to break and the batteries won’t have nearly the life they did at the start. Don’t buy new tho, still, 12,000$ is waaaay too much for a something like that.

    • @SuprSi
      @SuprSi Před 3 lety +1

      @@pureprotein9597 very true, but fortunately I'm good at sorting stuff like that, replacing bearings, seals and rebuilding batteries with new cells. Nearly everything can be made good again. The hard part will be waiting for one to show up on ebay for a good price lol

    Did you change the trigger control or is it still an almost impossible balancing act (for beginners)?

    • @robadair
      @robadair Před 3 lety

      Someone didn’t show you how to use it correctly. Put it at a low power setting, like 3 to start. Pull the trigger all the way and hold it tight. Off you go. Once you get comfortable you can increase the power setting but it is easiest to start off at 3 or 4 and just pin it. When you are riding you can increase power but decreasing it makes for sudden deceleration. Better to slow down by gradually releasing the trigger. I hope this helps.

    I bought a 5.6 board and an extra battery as a lot of friends joining me on my rides. My logic was that I would eventually buy a smaller board and would use my extra battery for that since you say that all elements are interchangeable. I am therefore extremely surprised to be told that you will not sell a new board without a battery in order "not to break the bundle". At $3,000 a battery, I think this is outrageous and very disappointing.

    If you want to sell a lot more of these, show some people who weigh over 175lbs using them. Ideally an out of shape guy in his 50's weighing 250lbs . After all the proportion of people who look like models who can drop over $10k on a water toy is pretty small, while there are lots of rich guys over 50 who don't live in a gym who would love to fly.

I'm 6 feet tall, 170 lbs, athletic build. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.
