@@thekinginthenorth6505 Game Of Thrones isn't a show bound by a budget which is partially influenced by viewership. An episode of The Vampire and/or Originals has less then 45 minutes of run time so any minute spend on an intro is a minute less spend on the actual episode.

@@thekinginthenorth6505 50 minutes is still a lot more compared to less then 45 minutes. A show like Game Of Thrones can justify a long intro but a show like The Vampire Diaries and/or Originals could not.
