It’s that time of the year again! The #RamnathRoenka Awards 2023 are here, where Akash Banerjee and Manisha Pande recognise the best of the worst of TV journalism.
It’s been an action-packed year with iconic and comical scenes playing out on our TV screens, from journalists quarreling to grab the now infamous ‘smoke bomb’ to the Times Now studio turning into an Ekta Kapoor serial starring Navika Kumar. Meanwhile, stories like Atiq Ahmed’s murder and the Seema Haider love story played out for months, each show more outrageous than the last.
So, we’re handing out some very prestigious awards to commemorate all the madness. We’ve got the No. 1 Reporting Of The Year award, Lappu Jaisa Media award, TRP Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega award, Hypocrisy Ki Bhi Seema Hoti Hai award, Taau Pe Mat Jaa award - and a lot more.

20 years ago, when I was in class 1, my parents kept on forcing me to watch news for atleast an hour in a day. It really helped me to broaden my mindset, learn about the beautiful world, understand history and practice humanity.

@@curiosity_fanwell but you should know that Newslaundry alone isn't some gatekeeper of news. You have to of course avoid toxic media but at the same time use multiple reliable media sources (aka drinking from multiple wells). Then only u can atleast be free from 95% bias
